Vilsig decides to keep the generic man alive, if only to kill him slowly later, for being such a cynic.

"DAMNIT!" Judas cursed as he stabbed his sacrificial dagger into the ground, frustration in his voice. "Who the hell does that old man think he is?! He herds us around like a herd of sheep, saying he knows how to get out of here, and then he just vanishes?!"

Judas took three breaths, and stormed after Tiresias. "Im going after him. He ought to have a map or compass or SOMETHING."

Alex moved towards Judas. "Wait! Do you really think that's a good idea? He seemed to know what was going on, maybe he was telling the truth?"

The man rolled his eyes. "Thank you for that wonderful explanation. Can I go back to sleep now?"

(Ok, so once everyone went to sleep, Tiresias tried to kill Lefay, but Mistaria showed up, stopped him, and started choking him. The commotion woke Mina and she charged at Mistaria to attack him, but ended up getting choked herself and thrown into the darkness where she hit a tree and fell unconscious. As other members of the party started to wake Mistaria disappeared with Tiresias for a while and told him never to come near Lefay or the rest of the group if he wanted to live. Tiresias disregarded his warning just long enough to tell the group that he was a danger to be around before walking off and disappearing. Right now Mina is back by the fire as Alex and Lefay dragged her back there and now she's starting to wake up.

Also Vilsig asked Mistaria some questions and wants to have an audience with Tiresias and started trying to have conversation with his group or whatever.)

(L stop complimenting me so much you're only giving more ammo to the shippers)

Mina pried open her eyes and sat up, blinking a few times before rubbing her eyes and blinking some more. "Oh... a concussion... fantastic..." She felt around for the spot where her head had the most direct impact with the tree. Strangely enough, she didn't appear to be in any pain. "At least I don't have any memory loss! Heheheh... um, who are you again?" she asked pointing to Lefay with a confused look. Waiting just long enough for concern to register, she smiled. "Ha! Don't worry, I'm just messing with ya', Lefay." She went to lightly punch Lefay's shoulder, but only managed to hit the air near it. "... I missed."

(Oh, lovely; Corthias was in stupor after reflecting back on what she was told by beaver man Woodie because I couldn't be online for her to do something that is actually useful.)

Corthias quickly brushed the hair out of her eyes, and snapped out of her daze; she quickly sat back down and observed the camps and individuals (her gaze stayed on Mina for a few seconds before she continued surveying her surroundings), before speaking at an incredible rate.

"Forgive me; I was still half-asleep and I apologize if I sounded not quite in touch with reality. Correct me if I'm wrong, for it would be terrible for me to make incorrect assumptions; I'm going to suppose that something worrisome has happened to the camp and these persons without our knowing beforehand. Certainly not anything desirable."

Corthias found herself pacing around the side of the camp Mina lay (she looked for any injury that were on Mina before she continued pacing). She stopped walking and sat next to Mina before rubbing her own hands (still covered in reddened cloth and honey).

". . .this may be a bit rude, given what has happened here, but may I have a piece of cloth?"

(I don't want to do anything important due to my lacking access to computers. Also, yes, this is a bit quickly typed, so apologies for any mistakes.)

"That old man is gone.....something attacked us in the middle of the night. Mina hit her head......sorry. I don't really have any to spare."

"Don't worry. I can spare a little."

Woodie tore a piece of cloth off one of the sleeves of his shirt and gave it to Corthias.

The man closed his eyes and seemed to want to go back to sleep. A torchlight could be seen in the distance. Someone was approaching Vilsig and the others.

Alex nodded at Mina. "Yeah, you hit that stump pretty hard. Are you alright? Bleeding at all?"

(DON'T THINK I DIDN'T NOTICE YOU SAY TIRESAS YOU SLY DOG)

"I'll take care of this."

Sirus's left arm opened up, and changed shape, into a circular arm cannon, a bright green light glowing from it. He floated over to the stranger off in the distance, the glow keeping Charlie away.

"Who's there? Speak up!"

"Just an old man, looking for his shadowy friend." Came the reply in an elderly shout. "No need for weapons."

The man grumbled and sat back up, opening his eyes.

"Well, that's good." He looked around. "So... What now? Do we just go back to sleep?"

(Also, Silent, if we've established this happens in the same world as Carnatis Inviktus, then what happened to Rustlung?  Wilson?  All those other people whose names I don't remember?)

Kate groaned, sleepily stumbling a little closer to camp while clinging her blanket and the yellow orb, but still staying a good distance from the fire. "What's going on..." she mumbled drowsily, letting out a yawn.
