(Wicketon finding the arrow. I certainly would have forgotten about that small detail.)

Tiresias shouted after Lefay. "Don't be alarmed by any talking dogs!" He grinned at Mark and Mina. "Well played, folks."

The man frowned and took a step back. "I'm not hungry." It was clear that he didn't trust Vilsig.

The traveling would be gruesome without supplies. He would have gone insane if he didn't see something soon. Luckily, he did.

It was 3 figures, talking among themselves.

As you could imagine, it was a shocking discovery.

"Wow. Intelligent beings, in this wasteland. Maybe they made that odd scratch in the tree, but still, i can't believe there are sane, living people here other than me. Maybe they are dangerous, maybe not. I NEED to find out" said Wicketon to himself. As he walked over, more details came into view. There was a lanky, tall women, another woman(average height), and a man(average height). "Interesting. Hmm. Wonder how they will respond, they seem friendly enough. I mean they ARE laughing"

They were laughing, except for the tall one. She looked furious.

So Wicketon greeted the man.

"Hello. My name is Wicketon, you are?" Wicketon said while holding out a carrot that he pulled out of his sack as a peace gift, along with a stone cup of mead.

You see, Wicketon relied on his peace-making skills in his town, and the one thing he learned is that in a noble family, the man should be greeted first, and with alcohol and food in hand. Hence, he learned how to brew mead.

(Disclaimer: He comes from a Victorian England town. Any side-effects from that are not in any way, shape, or form my fault)

Judas sighed as he sat down. How long had they even been walking, and now they were camping again? How long were days here anyway? At the very least, it would better help give him time to discern false from reality.

With that in mind, he took out a deck of playing cards, and began playing Solitaire.

Mark was surprised to see another "hopefully" friendly face in this stupid place.

The first thing that came to his mind was to greet the man back. "Why hello there! Hey, is this for us?" Mark waved, and took the carrot from the man's hands.

"Heh, thanks a lot, pal! I'm Mark and this is Mina. We're glad to see another friendly face around these parts, eh?" He pointed to himself and then to Mina.

"And pray tell... what's your name, eh?"

"Wicketon, sir". Wicketon replies while gulping down the mead. In his opinion, why let it go to waste when the other person doesn't want it? Thoughts race through Wicketon's head. These people seem trustworthy, but it could be a act. After a long pause, Wicketon decided to go with these people, but be cautious.

"May i join you?"

The man hesitated, then grabbed a kebab. "Thank you. I'll go enjoy this in the comfort of my home." He promptly walked off, examining the rabbits.

Tiresias watched Wicketon, but didn't approach at first. Alex walked towards him, grinned, and gave a small wave. "Hi. I'm Alex."

(I have a character that I've never used before and I was thinking about adding and having her run into Vilsig, but I'm not sure.)

Mina let her arms swing gently back and forth. "Sooooooooooo, what now?"

(YES. PLEASE. DON'T LEAVE ME TO TAKE CARE OF BATTAL.)

(No offense Battal)

The man returned to his home, putting the rabbit kebab aside, and watched the rest of the village.

Alex looked over at Tiresias, who was still not saying anything. "I guess we wait?"

Name: Kate

Race: Female human of about nine years of age

History: A young girl shuffled slowly through the forest in a daze, her empty, glazed over eyes starring blankly ahead. Dirt and bits of foliage clung to her severely emaciated figure; it was obvious she hadn't had a decent meal or been in civilization for at least a couple weeks. She didn't know where she was going, or for how long she had been walking. All that registered in her mind was that she had to keep moving forward, to get away from the scene that lay somewhere behind her. That was, until a tall figure appeared in front of her path. Barely registering his prescience, the girl stopped.

"You miss him, don't you?" the figure asked with a small hint of sympathy, the smell of cigar smoke permeating his words.

The girl simply lifted her head up towards him.

"I could bring him back to you; reunite you. Would you like that?" He asked anyway, already knowing the answer.

Something clicked in her mind and her eyes started to glisten with tears. She nodded slowly.

"Then take my hand." the figure offered a gloved hand to her, and she took it. Then everything went blank.

Personality: Kate is very quiet, not mopey, just quiet, even to the point of not responding to direct questions. She often comes off as distant and/or un-trusting. However, as bonds start to be formed, she will slowly open up talking more and becoming more playful. As a young child she is innocent, a terrible lair, and at times a bit gullible. She will defend anyone who manages to befriend her to the death.

Appearance: Kate is of average size and build for her age with dark, almost brown, short red hair and orange-ish brown eyes. She wears jeans rolled up to just below the knees, a plain T-shirt, simple white sneakers, and a blanket just large enough to cover her tied around her neck like a cape; all of her clothes speckled with singed and sooty spots. It looks like she hasn't had a shower or descent meal in a while.

Strengths: Maxwell did keep his end of the deal... sort of. Kate now sees and talks to her dead brother, Kade (I'm bad at names), but he's not alive or a ghost, just a figment of her mind. She's in sort of a weird state where a small part of her mind knows he's not really there, but the rest of her subconscious in an attempt to keep her sanity to the point where she can function keeps her from fully realizing this. As such, she will avoid talking to him when other people are around, mostly to avoid the obvious situation of people asking who she's talking to. None the less, Kade will bring to attention things she might have missed out of the corner of her eye, helps keep her together emotionally, provides a voice of caution, ect. generally being a benefit.

She is a naturally gifted pyromancer. She doesn't have much mastery over this gift, and it will flare up, sometimes violently, in cases of extreme emotion or life or death situations. However, she has a lot of potential, and could become a powerful pyromancer if she learns to gain control. It's quite unfortunate she has pyrophobia.

She has strong fire resistance. Not complete immunity, but it will keep her protected for a while.

Weaknesses: The aforementioned pyrophobia keeps her from practicing and learning to control her power, and she will avoid using it as much as possible. She can keep it together around small fires long enough for night to pass, but large amounts of flames could cause her to panic and break down.

As she is only a child, she isn't very physically strong, and her mental condition isn't the most stable.

Even though Kade is mostly created and maintained by her own mind, since he was part of her deal with Maxwell and Them, either one can distort him or his actions any time they please. (With this I am basically giving whoever has control over Them and/or Maxwell the opportunity to mess with her any time they want; they can make Kade say, do, or be in any situation they desire.)

(I probably picked a very bad character to pit with Vilsig and she's probably going to die/lose her mind pretty quickly. But whatever. #YOLO)

(CORTHIAS STOP STANDING AROUND LIKE A FREAK.)

Corthias' initial intrigue has worn off by now, and she was only half-listening; right now, her mind was more occupied with menial topics. Her dreams and the meaning behind them. The origin of the tome she holds. Her own origin, beyond that. And so on.

(I think Blew was waiting for you to say what terrible thing happened to the villagers, Battal. I mean, he had to have done something, right?)

(Also if later Blew says my character isn't accepted I'll just edit away this post.)

Kate wandered aimlessly, scanning the landscape with her brother walking beside her. "I hope we find something to eat soon. I bet you're starving." he spoke to her, and she nodded lightly in reply. Spotting a carrot in the distance, she perked up and jogged over to it. As she bent over to pick it up, Kade squinted at something in the distance. "Hey, what's that over there?" She stood back up with carrot in hand and looked at the point Kade referenced. A hooded figure was approaching this way from the horizon. She stood still, unsure of whether to run or greet the stranger. "He looks kinda scary... be careful."

(Okay, it's been long enough.)

Eventually, Lefay came back, with plenty enough food for everyone for a while.

"Alright....I think that'll do us for a while. Berries, carrots....little bits of meat. I even found a farm with a couple of watermelons on it a bit further away."
