We all know we will be able to ride beefalo's by using saddles (unless its a different name) but what else will be in Dlc?

Well I am thinking new characters. One of which I believe would be Pyro/Wyro. What I have learnt from the Don't Starve wiki. He/She has some sort of pyro vision; just like from his game Tf2. In Tf2 there are these goggles which allows you to get pyro vision. Ok back to Don't starve. Pyro/Wyro also seem to have his equipment; like some type of axe and a lollipop. Well I am thinking this would work well in DST because Pyro could see differently from other players. For example Pyro see's a lollipop but others see an Axe (the axe I mentioned earlier).

 

I actually hope he will be playable some day (not including workshop) but I will probably still play as my favourite character Woodie.

Im 99.9% sure that was joke. Nvm I thought you said the devs said that haha. But what he said he didn't understand is why Willow would be the Pyro in Dont Starve: because Willow...is like... its as if she was a firebender or something, since shes inmune to it and can cause random fires when low sanity and comes with an infinite lighter. And Pyro, in TF2 = firethrower...

And? The pyro's not a girl btw, the Pyro has no gender, it's been confirmed by Valve long ago. Honestly, most people don't care because the Pyro will just be a character. If it's added, okay. If it's not added, okay. If the pyro debate comes here, a mod needs to lock this thread asap.

2. Valve never confirmed Pyro's gender or whether the Pyro is genderless.

This reminds me of what actually happens in Tf2. Two Pyros walk up to each other and just shoot fire at each other until one dies, but usually they both die so the confrontation was pointless anyways.

That rarely happens because of the following factors:

* Health.

How do you know if one of them got a kick in the crotch or tripped on a rock before they burn each other?

* Distance.

Flame particles are small projectiles that take time to travel before they deal any damage.

* Equipped flame thrower.

Different flame throwers perform differently.

* Teammates.

How do you know if somebody is not going to suddenly hop in?

 

Please get your facts straight.

 

EDIT: Also, the confrontation was not pointless. If one or both of them dies, that's another player on the team that won't be contributing for 2-15 seconds.

4.) You're using an opinion. Though, you're not actually quoting the developers anywhere. It was a fact until one of the rhymes w/ dev streams where they brought him/her/it up.

 Let me help shed some light with what JoeW has said:

There is no holding back of news, we don't know what we are going to do with it. Like I said, the team did it for the fun of it. How or when it would come out and it what form, if any has yet to be determined.

There is no grand plan. It's not part of some big announcement or promotion, it was just something we thought might be fun that we thought you guys might find fun and interesting as well.

No nefarious plan or dishonest intentions. And I have to say, I am a bit disappointed to see that any of you would think otherwise.

This was the post that secondly disproved Pyro being confirmed.

That "Reliable source" is you posting something you said. Not a developer. Not a moderator. You put that at the beginning of the topic but you have no evidence to back yourself up. You're using evidence that isn't reliable because you posted it without knowing that it was.
