Vanderer Posted May 28, 2014 Share Posted May 28, 2014 Hmm.....Maybe we could implement the pigs with some holidays, or other creatures? I liked the Halloween mod someone did way back. It only happened every long while or so, and when you did dress up correctly you never got any amazing or overpowered items. You just got candy, if I recall, so yes, something like that would be nice. Though As Craig Perry said, getting items next to nothing in don't starve could seem as rather...Not fitting. Halloween gets the pass due to the nature of it, and the fact you are really just getting some candy and a nice way to pass the time, but Christmas...... How about you have to perform good deeds and such to get the presents. Santa, *or whatever equivalent it is in the strange world of don't starve* could pop along every....While and give you something nice. Just nice enough to encourage you to do more good deeds, but the item being not so valuable as to cause unbalance. It would be rather amusing Maxwell just adding holidays to his nightmarish world for kicks......However, it would be more fitting to the world and him if the holidays were twisted in that Don't Starve style, though.....However that may end up. Hah hah. You'd have to have some screwed up humour to make some twisted holidays pal, that's for certain. Hugos10 Posted May 29, 2014 Share Posted May 29, 2014 Perhaps if you do enough GOOD things (Such as feeding animals, taming stuff, etc.) Then a Krampus with a christmas hat will come and give you something instead of stealing?
