Went away for a sec

I recommend next time you make two bases, an awesome one filled with crops and everything useful for Winter, and then a crappy one for Summer. So if your stuff gets burnt, which is pretty much inevitable, your Winter base is always safe.

This is what i saw when i returned, the ice flingomatic was still on and it is 100% sure on range ( survived the summer already since day 20 so the range wasnt the problem for sure...)

Ooopy daisy.

Yes.....I had 3 flingomatics in my base, and they kept everything from burning up. Just one won't cut it. The base is still a-ok, and I have survived my first full year. *I get bored and start new characters easily*

When you really don't have anything else to do, get an icebox, grab all the ice you can mine, and whatever other parts the snowcone machine needs to work, and set up multiple ones around your base. So long as you keep everything in range, and the machines full, your place won't go up like Fireworks Night.

Flingomatics have never been reliable, in my opinion.  Not once have they ever stopped a fire of any kind.

I would be inclined to agree until just a few days ago Chester caught on fire, ran into all my chests, catching them on fire, and the Fling O Matic I set up for my farms was all "HELL NAW" and sent out a flurry of snowballs putting all 5 chests and the poophead Chester who started it. I surprisingly lost nothing. I accidentally fed Maxwell some rot to celebrate.

Most of the time they just randomly throw snowballs into the ocean though and I can't figure out why.

Mine did stop a forest fire. Or at least saved the part that was withing the range of of the flingos.

I was pretty sure I was doomed, but what do you know...

Edit. Getting bit too drunk to post on the forums.
