I hear a lot about the new creatures but I haven't experienced it so I am gathering as much information as possible to better prepare myself. If you have trouble with sanity I recommend you get him if you need more sanity Aggressive- Dragonfly by far. Its the giant of summer and it seems to attack whenever you don't want it too. With Ice Chester, I'm able to keep my ice cube stash cool so I don't burn up all the time. Dark Chester might be better but I haven't tried him yet...Ya know what? I don't think I'm really a great person to be answering this question XD! Wait! I changed my mind! The Catcoon is the best. It's just so cute. NO WAIT! The totally normal tree is my favorite. Oh, but the Moosegoose is also pretty cool.... If multiple catcoons spawn than I could have an army of them! Yesss!Yea I have no interest in killing them, they are of more use to me alive. I'm actually a vegetarian IRL for that reason. I can just dig up their homes during the day, bonk them on the head with a hammer, put them in a pen where they'll dig up new homes. After I get a good amount of them I can get a steady supply of morsels that I can turn into jerky to last me all year round, especially if I have 8 or so drying racks and moleworm holes. They respawn every afternoon or so and their holes last year round unlike the rabbits and you can lure them to you by placing a rock next to you while you relax at your fire pit at night. Once they are right next to you to try to eat the rock, you can just hit them on with a hammer, kill em, and put them on the drying rack or ice box and wait for the next moleworm. I can also turn them into night vision goggles, raincoats, rain hats, and guacamole if I want to. With all the jerky I get daily, the crock pot seems like a secondary convenience to build in my spare time if I have the extra resources, similar to building farms.
