Lureplant spawned in my camp

Fire should work. Or geared up with at least a logsuit and a spear like you said. Then you can achive more than ash.

not without a tentacle spike or higher, since wendy's damage won't let you one hit them with a spear

They take one hit with a spear. It's easy, just cut a path and go ham on the plant.

Or just run through the eyeplants and cut down the lure.

Smack the eyes to get to the plant then then smack the plant.  Then remove the forest turf and replace it with stone, wood or etc ... 

It wont grow back.

the only flammable things are, trees, grass, berry bushes, saplings and creatures

 

so unless you have those close fire would do the trick

They ate everything I placed next to them before I could burn it...

 

Anyway I ended up waiting like 2 days for Abi's flower to be ready, and summoned her...

Unless you want to make some kind of Silk farm or something like that for wich Lureplants are used sometimes, using the bulb as fuel is its only use. And it is an excellent fuel.

Not that long ago I had one near my camp but luckily I had a spear, a wooden armor and was playing as wolfgang, I just ate some food to get me to 225 hunger Points and the thing was done.

aNo walrus camp on sight I would have to go explore far from my camp...Not a good idea on winter...And Im basically living off of rabbits, I had that hat prepared before winter, so yeah. I wanted to make an amulet, but things got hard quickly, also I went down to get items for the lantern, and I ended up bringing two rock lobsters :/

My point was, I miss the days when things like that would make me pause and wonder what to do because they were new to me.  Finding a lureplant in the middle of your camp is actually pretty common.

on the last screenshot there was very little flammable material by the lightning rod

 

it is best placed down near groups of crops  to protect your farming efforts;

 

grass, berry bushes, saplings and trees are the flammable ones

Oh I dont have those ^^ Only actual farms...Those cant get burnt, can they ?
