Also I figured other Maxwell players would be wondering the same thing. So ummm is there any way way to get the codex umbra on a Maxwell that was created before the update? I have checked my inventory item by item and its not there and I checked the map all over the place even though I didn't have my inventory full when it happened it just isn't their. Could it be that I didn't get it because my character was originally Wilson but then I completed Adventure Mode and I swapped Wilson with Maxwell on the world I am playing him on. In the meantime, you can try using the console to DebugSpawn it, I believe it's called "waxwelljournal". It is in his starting inventory, but the GuaranteeItems function isn't called as usual.
