Spazmatic
Besides that, given that you know the game very well, do you have any suggestions for things I could do in that part of the game in order to make it more interesting? Or then new perspectives for new games I start, etc. ..How do you remain interested in the game given your extreme knowledge about the same and the ease of the game? Well, I partially set makeshift objectives for myself, which can be simple in nature but still keep me amused. One time I build an underground cave base which resembled the start from the Two Worlds adventure mode world. This right here Now, collecting all the turf and removing/planting the rest, took me a couple o hours to complete. And I enjoyed every minute of it. Still, sometimes it may be refreshing to take a little break, and then start playing on a later time. It will most likely take quite some time to get to the point where the game is easy, and you will have no more problems surviving from that moment onwards unless something truely crazy and unexpected happens. But even then, you can use your knowledge to challenge yourself. Another fun and rewarding part of the game is to let nature battle itself. Figure out what attacks what and use that knowledge to conquer the lands, so to speak Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/28603-does-the-game-gets-harder-after-some-time/page/2/#findComment-340092 Share on other sites
Lons
You actually can do that once you have enough spare food.I know. But since the game gets very easy after the 50th day you actually don't need that. What I was trying to say, I think I expressed myself badly before, is that they could improve the relations between Pigs and our character (for example, we could tell them to stay in someplace in order to defend it). But as I was saying this would only be needed if they makes the game harder. By the way, do you think that would be interesting one "Topic of Goals"? It would be fun to see one topic with possible in game goals that players could seek to achieve as the example you said: "Building underground base with X characteristics" or "Living until the day X without crockpots", etc.. I do my best, and thanks for the compliments ^^. You're always free to make the thread you so desire, I could always share some makeshift goals that emit from my cranial area that hopefully extends the player's replay value. And who knows, other people might share theirs aswell! jbeetle
I feel like Klei also wanted to make the game get harder but never really found a way they liked. Something tells me just making the mobs hit harder or have more of them didn't go over too well with Klei, and they couldn't find any better idea they liked that also stood in the road map they had planned for the game. Also, if you consider being able to make a beekeeper hat an objective then we aren't on the same page. the truthseeker
I really don't want this game to be a "tower defense" Me neither. But I guess that they could add something for long games in order to keep the game interesting. Again, what I said is only one suggestion since I like the idea of having Pig's army Thank you again for your reply! You're amazingly helpful and educated! There's also this : http://painrandomiser.com/ As has been shown, the company doesn't have to change the difficulty of the game when the players can do that on their end as optional additions through Modding and the other unique things (such as the pain randomizer.) Having the game become "easy" after (hopefully) many months of play, and considering "other options besides vanilla game-play" is a very normal thing. It's why Microsoft and Steam offer Achievements in their community hub, to make the person play the purchased games as long as possible (and buy new ones of course.) the truthseeker
No, I don't. But some others might. Unless there is a large player feedback asking for something like this, Klei won't modify the game to change tested monster AI and/or drops. This is what Player mods are for: OPTIONAL things that players can turn on and off when they so feel, or keep it always loaded.
