Kirasy
Well my base is right by the wormhole where Wilson is and across the worm hole is the set piece (wooden thing). All the set pieces are quite far away from me and I have decided I wanted a dark petal farm. So I planted 20 bees and to my surprise when I came back 10 days there were almost no change to the amount of dark petals in my farm. Is this a range issue? Do I need more bees? Any suggestions as to how to get my dark petal farm going would be appreciated. Cynical Cynicist
Get bees.Destroy the hive they came from.Build a level 3 wall around the dark flowers.Release and run away from stray bees near the dark flowers. Iris
You have a pretty interesting map. Would you mind showing the entire thing? Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/28337-my-bees-theyre-lazy/#findComment-333016 Share on other sites
Coolcat600
I was sitting there watching a bee (singular) create flowers. The only flowers in the area were dark flowers and much to my dismay I watched the bee create a standard "light" flower rather than a dark flower. There had been other dark flowers created, but while I was watching, all I saw made were standard flowers. Kirasy
Iris here you go. (The backpacks are where my set pieces are.) On other note how could I go about making the bees make flowers towards my base? Also by they make more when in rendering distance how much more are they making? If I got a few hundreds bee would I still be getting tons of flowers even out of rendering zone? Last question is how big is this rendering zone? Ridley
I built a mini base in the middle of the set peice that comes with the teleportato Box. I released one bee and studied how he acts. He was very bad about finding the next flower so I used my fist to direct him. After he planted a evil flower, I named him Leo, and released about 10 bees there. A few days later I would add another 10 bees. Just spend sometime with the bees and help them get about 10 to 15 flowers near in the release spot. They will crank out the evil flowers like crazy if you spend some quality time with them. PS: its a lost cause to round all the stray bees up. Better to release more bees and hopefully there will be such a mass of developing evil flowers that it will keep the bees stuck inside the mass. Flowers * amount = gravitational pull on bees. Spazmatic
You gotta let them bee and all will go well.(They don't call me the Punnisher for nuthing, sirs and female folk!)On a slightly more contributing note, iirc the rendering zone is about 3 screens away, feel free to correct that statement if otherwise Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/28337-my-bees-theyre-lazy/#findComment-333362 Share on other sites
