Keep in mind that we may revisit the tuning in the future, when you actually have to complete a post Shadow Rift questline before the Sanctum resets. For those wondering, I think there may be a small update when Cawnival returns, but the next main update we're working on is the Shadow update Part 2. Bug Fixes Fixed repaired Sanctum Waymarks not properly reverting back to broken state during Sanctum reset. Fixed bug where you could “deconstruct” a Portation Orb Fragment back into a whole Portation Orb. Fixed crash when Shadow Creatures spawn in the Sanctum. No, you shouldn't treat this as a bug. Items like Dragon Scale Flooring have always been deconstructable to yield more raw materials — why do you always impose these kinds of restrictions on newly added content? It was the same with Terramite, and now this again. You always seem to want the things players obtain to be useful but still feel lackluster, forcing us to grind for them over and over. The fact that the Sanctum and Ruins resets are tied together means every round trip covers an extremely long distance, to the point where you're guaranteed to spend Orb Fragments on travel. And the drop rate for these things is already painfully low. On top of that, creating a teleport point itself costs three fragments. The acquisition method is also way more troublesome than just defeating a boss like before. Now you not only need to beat the Ancient Guard Tower boss, but also spend the better part of a day following Sanctum Waymarks all over the maze to collect Portation Orbs, then go back to a room and break them apart. The time cost is even longer than just riding a Beefalo back and forth — so what exactly is the point of "saving time" with teleportation? In my view, the powerful minion I get from defeating the Ancient Guard Tower already gives me enough incentive to grind repeatedly. At the very least, add a reliable way to farm Portation Stones, instead of forcing everyone to wait the full 20 days for the Ancient Gateway to reset. For example, we could use certain materials obtained after unlocking the Shadow Rift to instantly shorten its cooldown. I was destroyed when farmed alot of celestial champions by winona for infinity-teleports across map. I look at bosses like tool-unlocker, not a grind wall. bundling wrap, trident, bone armor set + optional rifts, living shield, dupable dragonscales, dupable weather pains, almost-infinity light-lamp, fridge-back-pack, repairable eyebrella, lazy-team-caller e.t.c. mb we can do something else, like unlock portation orb craft ability and deconstruct orbs instead of shards.
