Hey guys, just a heads up that you may need to regenerate Sanctum to see some of the changes.  On another note, we are likely going to hold off on the new searing damage type, so we can do it properly with more time in beta.

Changes

  • Added Sanctum Smithy, which appears after taking the Keystone off the Reliquary.
  • Portation Orb Fragments are now processed from Sanctum Smithy instead of dropping from Ancient Guard Tower.
  • Ancient Guard Tower drops new components that can be processed at Sanctum Smithy.
  • Added Chess Piece figure for Ancient Guard Tower.
  • Added a Chasm in the Key room for a quick exit after clearing the Sanctum.
  • Added Ancient Guard Posts to several rooms within the Sanctum.
  • Up to 4 Security Pulses can follow a player, only when the Waymark Compass is equipped.
  • For now, the Beckoning Hand for the Keystone will appear once every time you defeat Fuelweaver.
  • Increased Geothermites drop rate of Heat Glands from 33% to 50%.
  • Reduced Nightmare Amulet Purple Gem cost from 2 to 1, and increased durability from 3.2 to 4 minutes.
  • Increased fire damage of Coals from 7.5 to 10 damage per second.
  • Telelocator Focus can be placed on Boats.
  • Morning Star, Shadow fires (e.g. Night Light) and Endothermic fires no longer dissipate Miasma.
  • Willow’s Flame Cast and Combustion spells dissipate Miasma.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Splumonkeys being able to steal active traps (Tooth Trap, Coals, etc.)
  • Fixed Mines and Coals sometimes not deactivated properly when flung (e.g. ground pounds).
  • Fixed interacting with Coals in your inventory inadvertently causing damage due to it getting hot.
  • Fixed some Golden tools being invisible when held.
  • Fixed Thermbell not affecting player temperature when equipped.
  • Fixed Thermbell, Thermal Stone, and Thermic Tools not affecting player temperature when held in the ‘mouse slot’.
  • Fixed crash sometimes when a Thermic tool is fully destroyed upon cooling down.
  • Fixed WX-78’s Spin-Cycle using durability on Thermic tools instead of their temperature.
  • Fixed Roto-Mapper getting sucked into Giant Whirlpool.
  • Fixed Telelocator Focus not being fully destroyed when one of its sockets is destroyed from sinking.
  • Fixed Thermalock Missiles not targeting Hot Coals.
  • Fixed Ink Blights sometimes dropping loot even when despawned by the world.
  • Fixed the Fumarole biome getting hotter instead of colder during Winter.
  • Fixed Waymark Compass sometimes pointing in the wrong direction.
  • Fixed controllers not being able to trade Torch to Varg Shrine.

Is there a method to get more portation orbs after you fix all of the waymarks? Because the broken ones with the orbs next to them stay fixed across resets, I actually think it's Impossible for me to craft the fragments in my world now as I fixed all of them a long while ago...

i noticed Scalemail now works with willow perks and honestly have no idea for how long it is a thing already. One thing that keeps it from being great is cost. 
Hope for gland to be added to a cost to make it repairable (or maybe upgrade it with gland?)

Very good changes. But I don't quite understand why you don't want to make nightmare amulet refuelable with nightmare fuel.

They can always add that the bosses on the boat will immediately sink it.

He can teleport if ocuvil is placed on a boat.

They added this with the release of the full version of Wigfrid and Willow skill trees.

Given that Ancient Keys are not generated repeatedly, it seems that Keystone should not be generated repeatedly either

Klei, I have a request, can you change the code for spawning Lunarrifts crystals, because they spawn too evenly and unnaturally, and also the area of the lunar soil appearance area itself is perfectly even and looks very artificial, as if unfinished, I think it would be good if there was more chaos in this

This change instantly made me think of Chilled Amulet, which honestly needs a buff too. Has great potential as a summer alternative to thermal stone, but sadly breaks waaaay too fast. Recharging near cold sources (like Polar Light, Endothermic Fire, or even Snow Chester) would be so good.

This is amazing, i always said how i dont like the fact that pure brilliance clusters spawn evenly and with just a poof, no animation or anything, this would look so amazing

Recharging would just make it too good but I think boosting it to a full day per gem would be a great alternative.

I really like the update! I'm really pleased we're heading to a conclusion, just as it'll be nice to see how the larger plot points play out - Plus I find it quite engaging this time around. I think the balancing is fair too, I think people forget that we've used to have to grind or dupe toadstools shroom skins and repeat multiple CC fights for decent end-game lighting. 

When you added the grind for Scion, I really appreciated how much it padded the end game out too - I don't appreciate giant gains because i'm at the end game, i'd like something to do with my time. Love it! :)

he could already teleport on boats, as long as said boat is in ocuvigil/crystalizer range
