Honestly, the horseshoe and the princess set were one of the most fun things that was introduced in the game, making some items actually viable as well as cutting down on grinding on specific items with the cost of having to take inventory space, I had thought that it would have stayed in one way or another.

Do Klei have any plans to include or add some Luck-modifying items in the future?

I would treat it like the signature gimmick of future year of the events. Its a cool concept thats fun to meas with, but probably wont be around in any significant quantity in the actual game because of how gamechanging it is.

It was fun, but fairly imbalaced.
A lot of peole thinks the luck system will return with Wes's skill tree.

yeah though I'm not sure how.

Perhaps he'll improve the luck of other players, but luck wouldn't fit his actual self since Wes's entire lore is that he's unlucky. Honestly improving the luck of other players could be the perfect gimmick for Wes; if you play him solo, you don't get anything and he still remains the challenge character, but if you play him with other players, you aren't going to be a huge detriment to the team.

Wes players tend to be 10,000x less of a detriment than other players since people picking Wes tend to know how to play and people picking anyone else tend to not know how to play. Most Wilsons, Wendys, WXs, Webbers, etc, will just sit around wherever they think base is doing nothing except slowly taking resources and doing who knows what with them since they don't place any structures down or hold any equipment.

Most non-Wes players are a "detriment", and most Wes players are a huge boon. They carry servers.
