I've made a diagram over the different functions of the phone panel.

You can flip the lever up and down, you can press the dots on the rotary dial, you can press the red button to make a small copper marker climb the meter on the left, and you can use the small levers to make a silver marker move up and down.

Sometimes the red button also makes the bells chime, but I have yet to understand how that works.

It's a way to record and play back a melody.

When you press any of the dots you record a note to play (can press multiple at each stage for chords) when you press the red button it goes to the next stage ready to record your next dot input(s), if you don't press any dots and press the red button again it simply skips that stage without playing a note, so we can control the timing too.

The silver marker is how you choose how long your melody will be, the state of the lever changes which pitch (octave?) the dots will record itself as, which you can hear when you play it back.

It automatically plays back the melody you've coded once the copper marker reaches the silver marker.

nothing

if its like.. the menu music or something i will CRASH OUT!!!!!!!

So, try this, here's some terminology to read the input

^ mean to change the lever to be in the UP position, and V means to change it DOWN.
X means to press the red button (yes sometimes twice in a row). And any numbers means to press the dot corresponding to that number; numbered from 1 up to 12 clockwise (starting with the dot that has a large gap between itself and the dot positioned counter clockwise to itself.)

Make sure the silver marker is at the very- very top, and the copper marker is at the very bottom, or the code won't fit as the copper marker climbs up towards it.

^ 8 X 10 X v 1 X ^10 X v 5 X X 5 X 3 X X
^ 8 X 10 X v 1 X ^ 10 X v 3 X X 3 X 1 X X ^ 12 X 10 X

i tried and got nothing, where is this from?

I'm sure the solution has to involve at least some chords, since the music machine thing has the ability to play notes simultaneously. We just have to figure out what song it wants us to program it to play. There has to be a clue somewhere, but I don't know what it is.

We added a way to reset your progress for people who want to do the puzzle over again

Thanks, very helpful.

I had to register as many as three secondary accounts for making a video about the cyclum puzzle. This time it will be much easier.
