Modulation.

It was that easy.

Now my question to you is this: If my Xbox & my Cellphone do everything I NORMALLY would had bought a PC for (aka surfing the internet, checking my email, chatting online with friends, & playing video games) why on earth would I Ever want to invest in a PC?

To me at least, a PC is significantly more free to do whatever you want with. I use Linux over Windows so this is doubly true. Sure you can jailbreak a cellphone or xbox, but you don't have to jailbreak anything on a pc, you just up and run it.

I hate touchscreens. Always have and always will. But that's just personal preference so if you hate keyboards and mice well there are touch screen monitors, xbox controllers, ps5 controllers, steam controllers, etc. so you're not locked out of that. Like I said, PCs offer significantly more freedom over your experience. I get the financial side of it but imo PCs are about the same price as an xbox if it is of medium quality. a high end yeah is more expensive but seems far more worth. Just my opinion.

Imo you can also find a decent pre-built for pretty reasonable costs now.

My current gaming rig is a pre-built, not really had to do much frankensteining to get it where I want it

Same, my current build is also a pre-built. But, I got it 6 years ago and it's still running perfectly and haven't had to upgrade at all. Got it for 700 back then, and I can run space marine 2 and warhammer total war fantasy 3. And Fallout New Vegas with 286 high demand mods! XD

Given how tech has progressed, I can only imagine something like this would be a lot cheaper now'a'days.

I'm trying to complete the controlboard puzzle, but despite following videos online, it always overloads on the very last step and I can't tell why. I incremented the final step as is, and it broke despite none of the gauges being critical. What am I missing? (2nd screenshot is poor but it IS glowing red)

Or is this a bug?

The same for me...

The puzzle is broken

I only can reach 6/7, the final step is bugged :(

Even if Klei is definitely familiar with bugs I found to follow this video here to be quite hard so I went to find y own solution. Here it is (which could be exactly the same as the video):

Orientation from left to right, also the order is important

  1. a. Slider A 40%

    b. Right most lever up one level

  2. a. Slider A 80%
    b. Right most lever up one level

  3. a. Press red button below the switches
    b. Toggle Switch A
    c. Slider B 100%
    d. Slider A 40%
    e. Right most lever up one level

  4. a. Slider A 0%
    b. Slider B 0%
    c. Toggle Switch C
    d. Slider B 90%
    e. Right most lever up one level

  5. a. Slider B 80%
    b. Slider A 80%
    c. Press green button below the switches
    d. Toggle Switch B
    e. Right most lever up one level

  6.

    a. Slider B 40%
    b. Slider A 50%
    c. Right most lever up one level

  7.

    a. Press Big red button 1st pannel
    b. Press red button below the switches
    c. Press red button bellow pressure meter
    d. Press green button below the switches
    e. Slider B 40%
    f. Slider A 60%
    g. Right most lever up one level

    Hope this helps

Thanks @Harthur90, that is a great description! I found it way better and clearer that the videos I saw. Thanks to this I managed to do this part of the puzzle.

Just one small thing, there are only 8 levels on the two left sliders, so 40%, 80% and such are not completely accure, I needed a bit experimentation to find the right places. But managed to get it, finally :)

I normally don't post on the forms but Im stuck on the control panel puzzle, neither the lever nor the panel with the fuse wont even open?? Im on Brave and Ive been following the guide to a T, but its not working? I assumed my ad blocker was messing with it(as it sometimes can) but disabling it did nothing to help

What is this meant to be about? Because I don't get it?

The first 9 pages have ingredients and the last page is apparently what he wants to make. This seemingly has only 1 solution, which I have in the spoiler.

There may not be any way to use this information at the moment. I think it will be the next thing to do on the night side when the sap timer is done.

I don't understand the solution (neither what's the answer, nor how you came up to it)... Could you please calrify?

On the last page of the notebook there is an IV drip with a list of requirements. The symbols show that the IV solution must contain between 8 and 10 "square", between 9 and 10 "triangle", at least 12 "spiral", at least 3 "circle", less than 3 "skull", and less than 8 "pathogen"

Each page of the notebook shows an ingredient, and how much of the different symbols they contain. For example, the chanterelle on page 1 contains 1 square, 2 triangles, 2 spirals, and 3 pathogens. And the bucket of sap on the last page is shown to remove 5 pathogens.

So, supposing that the puzzle which the notebook is for requires us to create the IV solution from the ingredients provided, Popian has already done the math and put together the correct ingredient list.
