I think a small problem is that his items are locked behind certain skills. No one else has skill-specific item skins.

I mean, it's a character spotlight update? Characters don't get skins during a spotlight update if they're not part of it. The only time that hasn't happened yet was when Willow and Wigfrid got skins in the Winona and Wurt spotlight, but that's because they weren't ready in time for their own update prior.

Yes! Are we finally getting an endgame?? I hope it’s being able to escape the constant, that would be a good incentive for players to interact with the rift content.

well kind of?? warly got skins this round(though to be fair i think that is more because of how long beta ran, with there being several characters that are waiting for their skilltrees it was nice to see they were not forgotten entirely during this unprecedented situation)

I don’t think having skins for “souls” would be a good idea, if dst was a single player game sure there would be no problem, but when introducing this game to newer players….. they already have a TON of crap to need to learn and figure out about not just how the game works and what your supposed to do while playing, but also each character they play as, or play with in a groups strengths, skills, perks and weaknesses etc….

And adding SKINS to that would be even more of a headache than it needs to be. It’s why you NEVER see games like Apex Legends reskin the looks of character abilities, it’s only the character themselves that get the cosmetics.
