Wortox has an excellent skill tree from the very beginning, which mean his skill tree would satisfies more ppl's and he would got lesser advice. Wendy skill tree is unfinished from the beginning, and after several patch it is still unsatisfied. I was heard some blame about Wendy players that said "you are never satisfied". Then I would like to ask why for the most completed Wortox skill tree, there are still "some" ppls keep giving advices and they seems "never satisfied" even for current patch? And wonder what is "special treatment". We better to switch the situation between Wendy and Wortox from the very beginning. Then Wendy would got the "special treatment" truly which make her could finish 2 main quest line in 15 days. Later we would have "15 days speedrun is not OP, but Wendy is." Lol Also I guess, for those who claimed that the quote "Wendy is more like a challenge, every other characters I tried would be better" by the speedrun winner who played Wendy is invalid, they would just start to say - "Wendy win the speedrun so the winner quote is unbelievable, Wendy is OP. But Wortox is not OP since 15 days speedrun does no meaning for balance!" The only thing i want changed is a potion to increase abigail light radius. Also, why make this personal? I still don't understand why the hell he's put in the discussion every time someone wants to ask for the fiftieth addition to Wendy's skilltree, he just got a damage perk to help him clear small monsters and improvements to what he already had, improvements that he has to make a decision about, since he can't have two things at the same time, so???... Dingle Posted December 7, 2024 Share Posted December 7, 2024 For anyone that didn't look at his video: Wortox only kills 3 bosses in the whole 2 hour run. He kills them with a hambat, not even using Wortox's new weapon. He would have definitely lost a boss kill speedrun competition with those numbers lol. Wendy would have obliterated him, of course. I agree, the “night vision” elixer should significantly improve Abigail as a light source, instead of just granting Wendy full night vision, defeating the purpose of Abigails ghostly glow as a light source. Tarnishedmax Posted December 7, 2024 Share Posted December 7, 2024 Wendy does like 5 bazillion dps, had insanely fast and probably the most effective aoe, Abigail can be instantly revived via elixirs removing the issue of her dying a lot and even if she dies you still have not died, yes you do Wes damage but god forbid you have to struggle a bit as a character that can do anything, Wortox quite literally had nothing. he was just Wilson but with easy healing, Wortox now can deal with multiple mobs more effectively and has an unique weapon of choice that doesn’t even surpass a darksword. Yeah idk either. His tree is quite good and i teresting, but still has a LOT of "increased heal effectiveness" type skills. Rn wendy just needs some improvements to gravestones & team spirit and shes in a good state imo. For example in a speed run you could't possibily be able to use a shadow saddle, for waiting for the rift and kill the shadow trio again would take too long. Hollow soul 3 Posted December 8, 2024 Share Posted December 8, 2024 For me, the primary issue I have with wortox's skill tree is the way it'll work on console, with the reliance on soul hop. I mostly play on Xbox. His landing point for teleporting is always present on screen, and it defaults at it's maximum distance. The only direction he can teleport is directly in front of where he is facing, with no control over range. All the credit to the developers, love the game, love the character, love the concepts. In practice, with the current controls, it makes something that should be fun and exciting pretty frustrating.
