Howlitzer vs Gloomerang

It just really depends.

If you have a fast and efficient hound teeths farm for howlitzer it could be better

But in most cases using 2 gloomrangs at the same time is better.

On one hand a weapon which for crafting is needed to kill 3 different bosses (2 of them in different season) and then a 4th one + going to the caves to get the spark not counting all the process to unlock the rifts and of course having to create a setup to consistently farm the ammo.

Or the Gloomerang which only need pure Horror and Dark Tatters, can be repair with ease, give you movements speed

Of course, the Howlitzer no doubt, if you see my vote to the Gloomerang is my evil twin clearly not me.

The critical downside of Howlitzer is inventory management. Carrying tons of hound tooth feels just inefficient.

not to mention it depletes them so quickly

its clearly the gloomerang for all the reasons Brotid01 mentioned. 
 

which is crazy because how many updates apart are they? The rate of powercreep is completely out of control.

A big turn-off of the Howl is that it can miss.

Howlitzer is weird and it does same function but core problem is needing resource. It's cheaper, in theory, but has big requirement for varg farm setup. Gloomerang is costlier in theory, but you can spam it safely and do a ton of damage.

Howlitzer kinda has the same problem as any other blowdart, it has specific attack speed feel but it can also miss, only that this one's a huge upgrade compared to singular darts that we get from expensive costs.

Howlitzer is reliable if you got the space. Imo we need some kinda tooth-bag or something to store into or an upgrade to howlitzer cause that thing technically only has 40 uses before it's useless till a reload.

I just wish the howlitzer could hold more teeth in general. If it could fit 3 stacks/120 teeth in a slot, it would feel a lot better as a secondary then a weapon I exclusively use for aggro and hound attacks.
