Attack animation

Firstly, let me show you a screenshot of the game. I am a loyal player of Don’t Starve. Why is it necessary to change the basic attack animation in this update? What is the significance? If the production column is indeed very convenient in the new version, what is the significance of modifying this attack animation? Why isn't Wanda's attack animation changed again? Is it discrimination? Differentiated treatment? Why haven't whip weapons been modified?

I completely don't understand where the advantages of the new attack animation lie? I hope to have a button to choose whether to start a new attack animation

My original intention was that I really like this game, not to show off how many skins I have. The new version of the animation has no meaning of modification, what is its purpose? Just like the delay of jumping a ship, at least there is always one option to turn on or off

I don't dislike the new animation when looking at it by itself, but when looking at it together with the other ones, it just doesn't work. All of the attacks are vertical slashes, and then you turn and start a horizontal slash out of nowhere. This new one isn't bad, it just simply doesn't fit together with the old ones.

Yeah, lets discuss the social and moral implications of the current monetization format adopted by the majority of companies.

I'll start, they should put a battlepass in the game as well as an option to buy a dice that will roll and if it lands on a 20 it will give a random 1350 spools skin.

I think they should go futher than RitoGames and release a skin based on a player, i vote for the moustache888, for 1.000$

Im playing the franchise since DS singleplayer were in beta and i accept changes when they are good, rwys farms or the new craft tab, and dont care when they barely change anything,  like this one

Unless you own the original beta bottomless firepit, no one cares what skins you have.

It's to bring up that old argument again of well I clearly spend more money on your game then others therefore you should listen to me more.

Yeah, this is my gripe with it.

It's not that bad in of itself, but it doesn't fit with the others, and it bugs me!

you are seeing the same thing at a different angle, is the thing. It doesn't make sense for it to look the same from all sides,

the old one didn't really make any sense. your character was just kind of shaking their item to their left wildly while their attack was actually in front of them. If anything, what people should be rooting for is for the downward attack animation to be changed to be more fitting too, although I think it does a better job at conveying the motion than the previous up attack animation did.
