Rikku
Items with the price of 100 000 research points or even more, also with an insane craft recipe! Something to keep playing for! Does not matter if it is only a hat, or if it is a glorious weapon. I want something to grind for in the long run. phantomspiker
Eh, I think grinding is awful. And I think the devs agree, they are already thinking about redoing the current research system.
Rikku
my research points are already starting to rack up, and I have researched everything, I want something that I can dump them into, or save up for. A player that really loves this type of game is going to get alot of points, so having expensive items would have been great imo.Even if the research system gets altered my suggestion still stands, expensive stuff, a reason to spend many hours in the game for. Bogpad
as phantomspiker already mentioned, kevin said that the current research system is not what they want to have in the finished game anyway, and that it will get changed in the way it works. since we do not know how the new system will look like, items as you suggest can not really be discussed anyway, or at least it would make no sense to do so. Kevin is unhappy with the current research point system and he wants to do away with any type of grinding. I agree, we should focus less on complaining about the current system and instead focus on suggesting a new system.

cptCalavera
I like the idea. Doesnt have to be something very usefull or nesecary for survival. But just something to use your materials on when you start hitting the content wall.Im not for grinding, but this would be like a long term plan of sort. Like building a pyramid in Pharao. That crap took forever, and was enjoyable
