Hey, I just thought of a cool challenge! Winter Survival! The only thing you will be changing is Food, Climate, and Animals. The rest can be changed freely.Beginner: Default Food, Long Winter.Survivor: Low Food, Only Winter, Default Animals.Adventurer: Low Food, Only Winter, Low Animals.Insane: No Food, Only Winter, Low Animals.Try it! If you love my idea, recommend more challenges.

I once made a beekeeping world that really only had bees turned on as well as reeds on high and spiders on more with most other animals set to low and none and no summer. The difficulty comes in where for whatever reason when you set bees to lots there ceases to be a difference between killer bees and regular bees in appearance and wasp hives won't spawn.A lot of customizables behave interestingly when pushed to extremes. If you turn lightning to lots you get dry strikes, mayhaps turning frogs to max could bring frog rain to survival? Turning pigs to max seems to also add an extra pig village or two.

I've only played for a few days. At first, I hated winter and set summer to long. Now that I've learned a bit and started a game on default, winter is cool (bad pun kind of intentional). I've discovered what to do during the winter to make it not so boring; what else would you expect someone to do but chop wood all day!I love the idea of a winter only challenge. With a bird cage, it wouldn't be as hard as you'd expect. Monster meat can be cooked and then fed to your bird for eggs. 3 eggs and another monster meat gives you meatballs, or replace and egg with a morsel and get some very delicious bacon and eggs. Grass and twigs would probably be your biggest troubles.
