A New Animated Short & DLC News!

Recommended Posts

Bring it on. Looks like I will sink some hundreds hours again.

I think Klei might have finally struck the right business model to keep oni growing. Focus on smaller deliverables that can be pushed for both base game and spaced out dlc, and that give steady release plan. Planet packs - brilliant! Fingers crossed for the right pricing.

If this is gonna be successful, we might get other "packs" in the future - element packs e.g. fire? Space pack just for spaced out?

I hope they completely abandon already partially implemented lootboxes. I also hope they merge at some point base game with spaced out - as a starter sell base game with spaced out already included for free.

Super hyped for the new content!!!

In this year's roadmap, they said these packs would focus on stuff like new biomes, critters, plants, etc, and that any system changes would probably be added for free.  I suspect fire  (for the love of Meep, Klei, give us fire!) would be the latter.

I wonder when the promised optimization will be delivered? After the release of Space Out! they promised that they would work hard on optimization, but more than two and a half years have passed, and the developers have successfully forgotten about this promise. Yes, there were rare messages about optimization in the patch notes, but globally this did not bring any noticeable changes, the game was still glitching in the middle and late stages.

At the moment, my configuration is as follows

VideoCard: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090
Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X
Memory: 64Gb DDR5 6000Mhz
Motherboard: TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS

and with such hardware it is unrealistic to play in the late game, 15-20 fps. Hi, developers, are you going to do anything about this at all or will you continue to release skins of things with changed colors?
