Everything but the swordfish is a set piece. I was pointing out that putting a swordfish on a drying rack made it lose like 2ft of height

Has this happened to anyone else? I world hopped into a new shipwrecked world and stumbled across this grave that when dug dropped a silver necklace.

When using the sky/seaworthy to "merge" into an existing save file (i.e using the worthy and clicking an existing save instead of the "new world" option), the character in the world you've merged into will be deleted and replaced by a grave with the contents of their inventory in it. That way you keep both your inventory from the world you came from, and the world you're merging into. With that in mind, I think you may have actually merged into a day 1 Shipwrecked save rather than creating a new one, causing the Wilba there to immediately be replaced by a grave holding only her starting item.

Wes' Misadventures in a Post CC World

First Encounter with a Fully Powered Lunar Rift

First Encounter with the Brightshades. I learned PRETTY quick to always wear protection when doing some afternoon weeding, I remember getting one shot by one of these things by not paying attention to my armor's hp. Good thing I still got insurance!

Finally completed the moonstone event! You were right @_mylilsunshine_, the wardrobe trick worked like a treat. A few werepigs tried to break through, so I installed some sturdy moon walls to keep them from breaking through. This is the longest it's taken to get this event done.

Set up a telelocator focus at base. With how far some POI's are from my base, I thought it'd be useful to have something like this to quickly teleport home without having to walk so far. I was also planning on killing CC again, so this would save me a good chunk of time getting back to the mainland.

Pictured here is MooseGoose and her kin getting mauled by the rift's brighteyed frogs. I know that regular frogs can be a hassle for her but these new ones are on a whole new level. I think it took about 2 and a half minutes before they took her down. Pretty scary stuff if you ask me.

20438A1.JPG.1da76f747a92944fd60435d0037cd438.JPG

Pictured here is me almost dying like a complete fool to CC's sleeping ring attack. Because the brightshade helmet makes gestalts a lot harder to see, I didn't notice CC doing his gestalt ring attack and get bodied instantly. Luckily, I got put to sleep before anymore gestalts could harm me, and my night armors were absorbing a bulk of the damage. If plan on doing this fight again, I might bring some life giving amulets with me just in case I end up biting the big one. Wes may have bad luck, but it seems the world shined on him that day.

My 2nd CC kill of the run. I think the image speaks for itself.

While Wes' life was spared in the fight, I couldn't say the same for my trusty rider Beefalo, Guineveal. in all honesty, I have no idea what could've caused this. There were brightshades in my base, but I put him far enough away for them to not aggro. I thought my werepigs mauled it to death because something took out the pen's bait, but the pigskin was still there. Could someone possibly give an explanation as to what happened here? I GENUINELY can't fathom what kill my beefalo here. With that being said, I had to move on, and decided to tame another beefalo in his place: Patty O' Beef.

203E221.JPG.a84d03b94e4c8fd27dacd20bccad13c4.JPG

Finally, the first of the 3 rift bosses has been defeated: The Possessed Varg. With brightshade armor, an enlightened crown, a staff, and a good chunk of sanity food, I tend to find the varg the easiest out of the 3 to deal with, just spam and move and it'll be dead quick. While I'm still feeling the high downing the disgusting beast, I'm still shuddering at the thought of taking down the last 2, ESPECIALLY Armored Bearger. That butt-slam man, oh man...I'll gladly report back to you guys when I down those 2 palookas. This is where the REAL game begins for Wes.

y'know what? it's really impressive that you went through an entire world as Wes without taming a beefalo, to invalidate all of his weaknesses. i can only see a beef which i assume is a rider

nice work, :apathy::chunky::encouragement:

I mean it's not bad strat, you're using the tools the game gives you to offset your downsides. But let's be honest with ourselves, fighting on a beefalo removes much, if not all the challenge that Wes provides. The only beefalo I tamed here was a rider one, as it gets me from point A to B much faster. I find fighting on foot to be much more impressive and fun, as you're putting yourself more at risk, which makes boss encounters much more exciting and tense.

This is what a winner looks like, folks.

(Yes, he did die. No, I didn't drown, mostly because I grabbed my telelocator staff from Woby 2 seconds after this picture was taken and zapped back to base. Pay no attention to the godawful inventory management.)

Man, that is a chaotic screenshot. Props for downing the king and having a backup plan, too. Looks like things could've gotten bad if you couldn't teleport away.

It has been done. All the Mutant bosses have fallen to the mighty heel of Wes the mime. At this point, the only thing that can stop me now would be my own hubris.

And as if that wasn't amazing enough, I also got a Krampus Sack from the loot stash. That's just the cherry on top of the cake.

Sadly, dear Wendy has died, after over 700 days of strenuous survival against the most impervious adversities.
My girlfriend and I still play in strictly Wilderness mode, and when a character dies we must necessarily choose another. If and when we run out of available characters, the world will be permanently erased. For the moment Willow and Wendy have perished, but Wigfrid and Warbucks are ready to collect their legacy!

What are these mods, I want to play that

Most of them are part of an experimental mod pack that I'm still working on, when it's well into development I think I'll make it public on the Steam Workshop.

And here's an update on the underground "Court of Miracles" where Warbucks and Wigfrid are hard at work!
