If wigfrid isn't a real valkyrie how can she turn into a supernatural light bolt attack?

her incredible singing abilitys are cool and dandy, dont worry she is an actress after all, her shield and fighting abilities too, she is just a lunatic actress, but she turns into a new state of matter? she turns into a dash of photons? she turns into LIGHTNING? WHAAAAAT? isn't she just an actual valkyrie at this point?

I feel like it's more or less the effects of the Volt Goat horn, maybe something about it spinning rapidly has some otherworldly charging ability.

thats what i was thinking, maybe this is being caused by the constant instead of wigfrid being an actual valkyrie

she's just that good at acting

that wigfrid skin is ******* ugly and terrifying

I would honestly let it slide when we have a LIBRARIAN with Books that grant almost GOD-like powers and TELEPORTING Queen of England with a WHIP (I’m so sorry, have my condolences) and a STAGE MAGICIAN with a strange tome (DO like Maxwell a lot don’t get me wrong) and… Wes (yes that’s it you can move on now)

(this is obviously just a joke)

The theme of Don't Starve characters since the beginning has been that the mundane traits they possessed in the real world are amplified into being actual magical abilities in the constant. Willow's pyromania turns into real fire immunity and magical control over it, Wolfgang's strongman thing turns into him actually possessing superhuman strength, etc. In Wigfrid's case, the stage persona she's been putting on has been amplified into her actually BEING her character, rather than just acting as such. It's the same reason she's got the lifesteal and only-meat restriction!

I mean we have to pull a rabbit (or 4) out of a top hat to learn how to gain access to mind consuming dark magic and we have to talk to an outworldly piece of rock to temporarily learn how to stick some pieces of glass onto some twigs, I don't think a spear made out of electrical horns turning the user into lightning is a far fetched idea in comparison.

Wigfrid is a valkyrie she always has been, she's the character that her actress played. She went into the  constant, not the actress, she disappeared after the deal with maxwell

how can we carry 16 boats in our back pocket

Extra-dimensional pocket inventory.

Imagine 3x 2m "anime sword" Thulecite Clubs, 30x Pierogis, 20x Dragon Pies, 40x Healing Salves, 20 Living Logs, and some Warrior Spider (fluffy lucky companion, don't judge), all in the same backpack. Magic indeed.

What is the most matter you can store in a character's inventory? 15 bundles of 160 rocks each + 1 in the hand?

Walter's slingshot ammo stacks in 60, so you could carry 240 marbles per bundle.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Walter's slingshot ammo. Can you bundle a bearger bin?

the constant for sure has its own fundamental laws, it’s even mentioned in the loading screen tips that time itself works completely differently than it does in the real world

for example, wagstaff’s third-wall quotes might be a gray area or it might literally just be that, for example, bread pops up out of nowhere when you cook a bunwich in the crockpot. another thing is that alchemy seems to just be a real thing in the constant (although it could always exist in the dst universe’s real-world as well)

my theory is that when youre put into the constant you’re not always able to recognize when things are happening that wouldn’t make sense in the real world. again, maybe a gray area, or maybe the survivors are literally manifesting teacups in the crockpot and going “well yeah why wouldnt that happen”. so then it might make sense that wagstaff is able to sense all of the nonsense because he’s not actually inside of the constant
