So about Wigfrid's Alignment songs...

+5%
That is how much the alignment songs grant you in terms of bonuses against the opposite alignment, +5%.
And to throw salt in the wound, THEY COST POST RIFT MATERIALS!
You can't even use it on the most prominent bosses of that alignment because by the time you even get access to them, YOU'VE ALREADY KILLED THEM!!
Willow gets a god damn Kamehameha-wave that deals 900 dmg in an aoe at the cost of killing a couple early game mobs, and Wigfrid gets peanuts for beating half the game.
Not even asking for something huge like what Willow has but like, could it atleast not be insignificant5% doesn't even change any damage thresholds for her for pity's sake!
And i get that it also buffs allies, but again, you've beaten most of the game by that point, and the percentage is too small to actually change anything, not to mention it has to compete with her other songs which while not that strong, are vastly better than this.

I wouldn't mind it staying at 5% damage, but if it does stay that way, please add extra effects.

Would be cute if the lunar magic song summoned the most powerful possible instance of rain while making the influenced parties of the song immune to rain.

Like, rain so strong, in 10 seconds, you'd be 20% wet and have it reflect on the world.

And some scientific data to support the link between rain and the moon

Spoiler

The researchers still aren't sure how the moon exerts this effect. Most guesses also come from the 1960s and '70s. Back then, some scientists suggested that the moon's orbit could distort the magnetosphere, a region of ionized particles surrounding Earth's protective magnetic field. This might allow more particles from space into the atmosphere, where they could trigger rain when they collide with clouds. Others speculated that the moon's orbit could increase the amount of meteoric dust reaching Earth, which could also trigger rain when it hit clouds, or that the moon could create a pressure bulge that would affect storm systems—a hypothesis floated by the study's lead author, Randall Cerveny of ASU Tempe.

that might be detrimental for anyone who isn't fighting nearby at that time, maybe it could just create a beam of water above all enemies nearby instead

wigfrid should be rewarded for not picking wolfgang/wanda instead who from the start outdamages full perfect scenario team with 5% buff
no effects, reused cast sound, just nothing thats so sad especially comparing what willow got.

But wickerbottom and warly can already do that.

combat specific though.

Wortox can already heal you, but wigfrid has her heartrending ballad,

Walter can restore your sanity, but wigfrid has clearminded candenza,

Wes has balloons that do nothing and wigfrid has fireproof falsetto.

A few characters can do something that wigfrid can. Anyway, I don't expect to get in. I'm just throwing spaghetti on thewall. I think that's what we're all doing. Hopefully klei thinks of something

I feel like locking some specific "cool" perks and traits behind a character skill tree is good because it gives the character something unique.

If I want rain control I play wicker, thats just how it should be.

I feel like they should be reworked too maybe. They are kinda boring for the combat character. I like the idea of them being instant use songs with special abilities like what noodles said.

Yah I'll be honest, when I first heard about this I thought it was an error.

5% is PLACEBO levels of damage. It's "spamming b to catch pokemon better" levels of damage. "Pushing the button harder" kinds of damage.

It's so nothing that I wonder if it was supposed to say 15%, that is at least somewhat useful, if low.

So I know Wigfrid is already strong but I think alignment songs shouldn't take up your singing slot the solution would be you need to hit the 3rd threshold before you use the alignment song but it doesn't take up a slot.

So it's +10% now.
Still given how lategame they are and the fact they're still incredibly boring, i'd atleast like to see something special to them, hell she doesn't even get a planar dmg boost, why did Wolf get one but not Wig.
