HowlVoid
Speedy watch: Speeds up Wanda's movement and her aging. (The watch will always takes x amount of years and does not allow healing during that time). Teleporting watches take time imo. Muscle memory: Wanda will craft time pieces and watches instantly. Improvised tools: Wanda does not require her tools to craft time pieces. Arranged Potential: Wanda can build time pieces with 1 thulecite. Timekeeper: At the start of a world Wanda pawns with +1 time piece. Priceless Watch: Reduces the price of the ageless watch by one marble. Timeless Watch: Using the ageless watch at full health will stop Wanda from aging for 8 years. (Does not negate damage) Eternal Watch: Using the ageless watch at full health will stop Wanda from aging for 8 years (the time the ageless watch restores) and prevent damage in correspondence to the time remaining. Borrowed time: Using an ageless watch while on cooldown will heal as normal, then that time will be subtracted after 2 minutes. (After this the ageless watch will need to go under a red cooldown that's longer. Once done it will return to the where the normal cooldown left of. You can only borrow time once per red cooldown). Serendipity: A player revived gains invulnerability when revived for 1 second. Hindsight: A player revived has gains invulnerability when revived for 1.5-2 seconds. Second-Second chances: If Wanda is holding a second chance watch, it negates the next hit that would kill her and break. (Works only every other death and does not save you from death via aging). Dark Sword mastery: Increases the damage of the darksword slightly. Let it compete with the alarming watch. Over fuel: Can fuel the alarming watch past 100% up to cap X. Exquisite tools: Thulecite tools (4 thulucite in recipe) that let you break apart a watch even while it's on cooldown. (Breaks upon use). Then I thought of a funny gimmick using moon glass in her crafts thus making them "haywire" and work in reverse. Maybe for lunar tier skill (you can only make one of these at a time, Wanda will claim too many volatile watches could create tear in the space time continuum) Un-Rejuvenating Watch: Ages resources by one stage. No-Chance Watch: Takes the player to the last place they revived and kills them. Otherwise teleports them to their point of spawning and kills them. (Can only be activated by the player it is affecting). Double-step watch: Doubles the next action Wanda will take (2/3/4 minute cooldown). Cooldown is long but I feel like it could be too strong and if it teleports you forward with a short cooldown it's stepping on wortox's toes and with a long cooldown it's useless. Hitchhikers Watch: Teleports a player to your location. (They will get a portal nearby they can decline and it will close) It's what I have, some might not be good nor balanced but I had fun making this list to pass the time until I fall asleep. Good night Made edit to the second hand watch skills cause yeah the RNG doesn't make sense tbh. flamboyant wolf
Not sure if that's how any of this works, but I always imagined it would be cool to use some lunar resources as a sort of "isolation" for Shadow magic, to make it more precise/directed(kind of like focusing a light beam with mirrors). Danila6300
She also needs the ability to deal planar damage at a safe distance. HeatAndRun
I hope she'll get a crowd control watch similar to the alarming clock in Reforged mod Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/149815-cant-sleep-wanda-skills-i-came-up-with/#findComment-1654203 Share on other sites

Riddla
I like a lot of these, but not a big fan of serendipity and hindsight - the RNG aspect is far too unreliable to use in practice. What if they instead inherited Wanda's "aging" mechanic temporarily, as in the damage they take is delayed over time? For example rather than taking 40 damage instantly, your health will get reduced by 40 over X seconds. That way it grants a lot more time to react and quickly heal back up, and the second upgrade could maybe use extra damage reduction, or just slower damage over time ticking. Not sure how to balance it though. goatt
I think borrowed time is brilliant. I want a watch case that has bundling wrap animation while being used. But I think that will be too good to be true. Fill-Lips
I'm gonna rate each and every idea here, so uh, long list incoming, with generic 1 to 5 rating: Speedy Watch (1/5) Don't like it, giving characters movement speed is a slippery slop of "Why can't X have movement speed item/skill?? Y was given one!", and wanda has plenty of alternate mobility anyway. Muscle Memory (4/5) Pretty nice idea, other characters with this kind of skill usually have 2 more connected that improve said ability, so maybe not instant, but 3 lots of specific craft speed ups to get it to near instant with all 3? Improvised Tools (1/5) I don't see the point of this skill when you'll still need to carry around the clockmaker's toolkit to disassemble watches, also how would that be coded in anyway, since majority of alternate crafts klei have done add a new alternate recipe, not alter them. Also, a skill point to save a slot of inventory space? I can think of a better alternative to that... Arranged Potential (2/5) Same issue as mention above, can you imagine scrolling through your specific crafts and seeing TWO time piece recipes? that be awful for glance value, but the idea of making time pieces cheaper to craft is a good idea, I have an alternate idea for this... Timekeeper (1/5) The big issue with this is if you are getting insights for the first time, this skill is a dead skill. Bad idea. Priceless Watch (1/5) Same issue as 'Arranged Potential' Timeless Watch (5/5) This is certainly a skill I would see klei devs come up with, you wouldn't normally use an ageless watch at a young age since most Wandas like to stay around middle/old age, so giving her young age more potential is great. I think the only thing I would change is instead of full health (Can you even be at full health as wanda?) but instead, at young age for this skill to work. Eternal Watch (5/5) I can see this being a branch behind Timeless, also like said above, young age instead of full health. Borrowed Time (4/5) I like an idea of a panic button when you miscalculate... that downside might need changing, but I can't really think of any suitable alternatives, maybe you can't recover while you have those years you've gained from that panic use? I'm unsure. Serendipity (2/5) Why would you ruin a perfectly good idea with RNG? just give them like half a second of invulnrability, don't be all fancy about it. Hindsight (1/5) Whats with the RNG skill progression, just make it another half second. Second-second Chance (3/5) This one might be a little awkward to implement, since wanda loses her health over time. But good idea though. Dark Sword Mastery (No.) Why dark sword of all things? Also with news of planar damage being implemented into wanda's kit, this is a dead skill. Over fuel (4/5) Missed oppurtunity to name is 'Overclock', guess you really 'snoozed' on that name, ha ha ha. Good idea, X-ing the number is also a good way to open discussion on what a suitable number is, 25% over? 50%? Hmm... Exquiste Tools (3/5) I like the idea of being able to forcibly break watches that are on cooldown, but isn't it better then spending half a time piece for? Hmmm, maybe. Another good idea that could be expanded on. Haywire (2/5, 0/5, 1/5, 3/5) I did this one in bulk since all 4 basically fit into this more simpler name. Un-Rejuvinating Watch is... Other then the super growth formula or rot, why would I use this? No chance No-Chance Watch should be a thing. Pure grief tool. What does 'Doubles the next action' mean? And only the next action once on a very long cooldown on a watch with an extremely short cooldown? Pass. We've come to the dilemma of overshadowing The Lazy Deserter, but who cares, that thing was already overshadowed by the base version of this watch. The question is, should this version exist only when a purple gem was slotted, or without? That's my long ass list of grading arbitrary ideas for the time twisting traveller, Wanda. Now to expand on my alternate suggestions for slot space and cheaper crafting: Clockwork Sack The idea behind this is to be able to store your tools, time pieces and maybe some odd bits/bobs that are required in crafting your watches, similar to the fishboxes! Thulecite Breakdown The idea behind this one is so she can use her tools to breakdown Thulecite into Thulecite Pieces more efficiently then a deconstruction staff, simple and easy. Thank you for coming to my Klei (Forum) talk. Yeah, I always felt like the spectackler boxes were a neat idea in an extremely niche environment. I can already see myself storing my different Backtrek Watches inside these. Sadly though, while storing a Second-Chance Watch is a tantalizing idea, for the occasional death of a less experienced friend, if I myself were to die I would be unable to revive with it myself, since it'd be stuck in the Sack Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/149815-cant-sleep-wanda-skills-i-came-up-with/#findComment-1654287 Share on other sites

00petar00
I would want to see Wanda's natural aging to slow down or even completely disabled as it just gets annoying, I understand that it brings difficulty and in the early game it is not that easy to brush off depending on what you are doing but why does this affect me after I've killed all the bosses? Watch storage would be nice, I always carry 5-6 watches. This isn't as much of an issue for her because you can always teleport to base to drop off loot but it does get stale when you have to do it so often. The problem with stacking ageless watch for natural aging in your suggestion is that you need to be full health, I am always in old age.
