What was your idea again?

you can shave off spider-made webbing using a razor or pitchfork depending on whichever one you want to use, though it won’t drop anything.

Attempting to place webbing where webbing was before the den got decorated will restore the webbing at no cost. But you will need atleast 1 webbing to start the action. And the webbing must be placed connected to other webbing of the same spider nest to get the free webbing

you can only shave the webbing of decorated dens.

You can craft your own webbing for 2 silk per tile. And placing this outside a den’s radius does use up your own webbing supply but when shaved will return webbing.

you did change a bit of it but this is the main idea.

What if they also function like bloodshot let me know the exact stats I should give Weber and the spiders each one of the 10 times it heals overtime

You could give Webber 1 hp and spiders 8 per second for 10 seconds.

Though it’d be more convenient if you just got more switcherdoodles or it affected more spiders per cookie.

I’m guessing you’re talking about @blacknight7890 but I only saw their post after finishing my previous reply and you could have been more clearer by saying their name or post.

This is what I got let me know any inconsistencies:

  • Silk fashioner: razors can be used to mark webbing for retraction(The area of the webs before the den decorations were added would be the farthest the den would place webs. So if you wanted to have a tier 2 decorated den to have the same web area as a normal tier 2 den, you can “place” your own webbing in that same web area but instead of using your own webbing, you’re just telling the den that they can move webbing back to that previous web area.)place  2 silk down on tiles to form new webbing independent of dens

This way it will be able to transform more spiders per switcherdoodle  and it makes sense how it works and it give a new use for electric milk

If you add it with the original heal like the bloodshot, it’s doubled with a bit more for Webber.

I’d prefer just more switcherdoodles per craft like Walter’s amo and Wendy’s elixir efficiency skills or more transformations per use as it has no additional cost, is simpler, and more convenient. I don’t see the need to add milk to it when it’s better without it.

It’s be the overtime heal added on top of the original healing.

So are you doing that or the cookies and milk anyways?

Made some edits to the skill:

  • Silk fashioner: razors can be used to mark sticky webbing for retraction,if you  place sticky webbing connected to the den and the den still has sticky webbing to use the den will “place” that instead of using your own sticky webbing, you can craft sticky webbing with 2 silk(sticky webbing outside of that I “placed” by the den would trigger spiders to come out)(only crafted sticky webbing drops when using the razor)

Ok so that would equal 18 in universe how is he getting that extra little bit when previously it only had a 10th of the effect on him as it does on spider

Going with your idea

How much should  switcherdoodles increase in yield With this skill

You could make it 8 seconds and have spiders regen 10 health per second as that would fix that extra heal if that’s a problem.

2 and 3 in total and the skills are called Duodoodle and Triodoodle. You could change the name if you want.

Should I make it only a chance of producing the extra yield or have it produced extra yielded every time or have it produce two cookies every time with a chance at making three And if so, if by what percentage

Wait I just realize something. What if in universethe amount of ingredients is the amount needed to transform a single spider let alone multiple. I think we might need to rethink this.

I was thinking every time as the original though was the since meat recruits 3 spiders at a time, it could also be the same with switcherdoodles. It might make sense to make it a chance, but I’d like it more if it was always. I’m a bit unsure about that though so I guess you could choose which you think is better.

Many things in the constant don’t make sense so I don’t really see that as a reason to rethink this.

But it has its own internal logic

What tools do you use to make stuff at an alchemy engine and how do you continue to make some of the more harder stuff like pillars or cut stone anywhere in the world? I could name more but the logic in that world is loose.

Maybe it’s the magic of the constant being focused through the alchemy engine, giving you the ability to do that for that specific item anywhere

but we should probably circle back around to that later

So i’m thinking of adding @blacknight7890 idea as the third silk craft since it will be a the third silk craft I’m thinking of moving the spider Cho part and replacing it with anything currently in the game that spiders can eat and possibly changing it to an upgrade version of the web whistle that can function as a spider version of a burrowing horn but I’m not 100% on that yet so do you have any ideas on how to format their idea into a skill tree craft form

Also, do you have any ideas for changes to the alignments yet?

Not yet.

I read a bit of it and I don’t see anything new that I’m sure should be added. If you wanted to add some of the den reworks then you could take another look at it but I don’t have any suggestions as to what should be added from that.

I mostly meant to reformat it, but now that you mention it, I don’t remember they’re being a crafting recipe in the original thread but do you think it should be the Webbie whistle upgrade or do you think we should just keep it the way it is in the original thread

I kinda like the travel pack idea. You could possibly add some backpack slots to make it used more often like 6  or 4 general slots with the rest being for spiders along with a speed penalty cause of its size. It would probably cost around 12 and some other things but I think it’s fine for the most part.

Cost 12 what

a speed penalty seems a bit counterproductive but I suppose 20 spiders +2 extra slots is a lot

Don’t you think 4 to 6 general slots blots the idea too much

I meant silk.

I mean there are walking canes and it’s more convenient to not have a bunch of spiders around you so seems like a fair price.

I mean space is important and you won’t be able to replace it close by like armor or other body items. The slowness and lack of an alternative while carrying this seems to make that fair, atleast to me.

You’re able to have 14 slots without flowing down if you use a Krampus sack so if that sways you in anyway let me know

I’m not saying we shouldn’t do something similar to it’s just it seems like we’re trying to fit a lot into one item do we even know that wouldn’t impede vision or not. Maybe we can have like a built in armor to it or something Instead

Even without the slowness a krampus sack seems more popular than a spider backpack when you can just have the spiders follow you or just bundle them up if you can. And krampus sacks are rare, while this is not.

I think the space is balanced and fair when you consider the sacrifice of your backpack and slowness. Would you be more inclined to use it if it gave you some space as to make up for not being able to have a backpack while you have your spiders?

Did you consider what I said, though about whether or not if I block vision also I’m not saying that we shouldn’t do something to make up for the sacrifice. I’m just saying she consider our options rather such as a built-in armor

I’m trying to figure out whether or not have no speed penalty, good work with in the internal logic of the game now whether or not something is popular or rare and who knows maybe if we introduced this into the game it will become more popular than the Krampus sack

Though blocking vision seems worse and doesn’t make sense as the travel den isn’t in front of you. And head armor is an option while the backpack isn’t. And all armor has durability which  would make the travel den less desirable.

I’m talking about the displayed inventory slots for the travel den blocking vision

Maybe make it act like the soul jar as in you open the backpack as an item to find the spiders in a chest like screen.
