I am happy. [Woodie appriceation post]

I am happy, No, to say that i am happy with the skill tree of Woodie would be an insane understatement. i was ecstatic all the way through just by reading the perks. I, and i think many can say that we got everything we wanted. Beaver tail slam, i remember that being a suggestion for a looong time, moose hp regeneration, moose mid-charge cancel. I can tell you picked up a lot of the old suggestions and new throughout the years with our canadian woodsman and got creative with goose on top of lumberjack traits, including giving more personal stuff to lucy as well.

On a personal note i was and have been a fan of Woodie for a long time and there was a lot of negativity around him which caused much confontration with the community for many many months, years even. It has been exhausting and i probably should've taken a break and enjoy  my character for what it is. I know that there is a lot of controversial posts atm and some bear a lot of concerns, but just know, you knocked it out of the park, and you have made me very happy personally. Thank you. I appreciate all that you do.

They did a really good polishment to the idol mechanic and how he relates to tguards. Its amazing. I share this feeling. Maaaybe the tguard idol can be too strong at the moment I guess once extinguish mechanics exists and u will use the same idol over and over again once u got a water can or ice staff in hands but hey

Hes the only one of the three who I struggle to choose a path cuz the other two ones has obvious "best options" but Woodie? probably I will change a lot doing tests haha

Other then Weregoose's final skill being an overglorified Purple staff, his tree is the most solid and benefiting one!

The other two are alright, Wormwood's tending branch has much to be desired and his Ipecaca syrup is very lackluster, and Wolfgang is Wolfgang, his base kit is already strong that a skill tree won't change much.

Oh it's insane how many you can spawn via the use of a few idols and an ice flingo

I now consider woodie to be a viable combatant! This is NUTS to me, because everyone before this update was throwing shade at the weremoose left and right. But now he is about as strong as (if not stronger than) Wigfrid! Woodie will SHRED spider dens now, bosses become easier, now that he has a speed boost too AND his idol and regen perks remove most what people were complaining about. If you ask me, Woodie is great where he is. The only things I would change are the consumption of weremeter on the other two masteries. This is because I personally feel that the goose’s fly mechanic is a little underwhelming at this point in time, and the beaver’s tail slap doesn't seem worth it to me. But other than those minor changes… I LOVE THE NEW WOODIE!

Weird theory: Could it be that they decided to make a skill tree just because they took down so much feedback and it was too hard to discard most of it?
So they decided to make it all and let you play what you want. :wilson_lightbulb:

If that's the case, i want the original glass canon Wendy rework as an option. I actually liked most of it. Despite what anyone says, it felt appropriate on all levels to me for them.

This is mostly because every change his wereforms got were directly asked for by the community they even added the suggestion that werebeaver and weremoose get their meter drain slowed down while walking and not doing their tasks.

Beaver's slap is definitely worth it as it gives him log harvesting speeds comparable to bearger in controlled setups

While goose's teleport can randomly take you to lunar, moon quay, and the ruins.
