The food gathering may have utility in bringing meats from an automatic farm to your pots, seems more for getting seeds from birds.

I think some new skills needs to be added:

Sacrifice health to craft general seeds and specific seeds.

(Recipe, for example, 1 pumpkin + 20 health = 5 pumpkin seeds, which means crops are still required in the first place)

Is Wormwood able to give Ipecac to Glommer for Glommer goop? Because that would be a very neat (and very funny) quirk for that skill to have.

turns out it was a bug that caused more vines to spawn by switching between the cane and the sword. not sure why but its fixed now

Basically, when Wormwood equips a brightshade sword, he gains a buff that gives a % chance to summon vines on every hit. Usually a buff like this is removed when you unequip the item, but in this case it wasn't. So you'd get an additional buff every time you equipped a brightshade sword, stacking infinitely until you leave the game.

I guess that would be ok-ish? It's not the best way to gain sanity but I guess that works.
