DnD for DST
Wigfrid and Woodie. Woodie transforms into a weremoose and Wigfrid uses her healing song. The Weremoose has a 90% damage reduction, better than most armor. He can keep hitting while Wigfrid dodges. The healing will slow the damage taking down to a halt. The reason why this is potentially so good is because of how little ressources this requires. No healing and no armor, just the totem to transform and the song you only need to craft once. maxwell_winters
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bb1FF3sTKs4&ab_channel=Lardee137 It's cool and all but feels one-sided. Wigfrid has to babysit Woodie too much. Kinda reminds me of pre-rework WX when you needed another character to access their powers reliably. Fill-Lips
Not really, Healing song heals 1 hp per hit for wigfrid, and 0.5 for everyone else. Woodie's Weremoose form attacks deal 59.5 damage at 0.5 sec intervals, compared to a standard melee's 0.433 Finally, Weremoose armor of 90% is tied with thulecite suit and outclassed by Night Armour and Marble suit by 5% Overrall, not even viable as a combo. I love Woodie's character, his quotes, his transformations and that ridiculous music, but one thing he's never gonna be without a major rework is anything even approaching OP. Anomen77
If buffing a character is what you want try giving Warly's Spices to either Wigfrid or Wolfgang: A fully spiced Wigfrid is near invulnerable until all the armors in her inventory break. Her health and sanity just cannot go down. On the other hand Wolfgang... let's just say he doesn't lack damage, alright. Still, I don't consider big stat sticks particularly entertaining. Holding F is not at the top of my fun activity list. Not only is this blatantly viable (you can easily see people kill bosses with it), but it's one of the best low resource ways to fight. 6 hours ago, Fill-Lips said: Not really, Healing song heals 1 hp per hit for wigfrid, and 0.5 for everyone else. Fill-Lips
Okay, I got some information wrong. (Thanks wiki ), though with testing posted earlier in the thread by dois raios, Weremoose still attacks slower. But that video isn't 100% proof. Wigfrid is decked out with a thulecite crown, marble suit and thulecite club for half of these fights, why would I need a Woodie when you can just solo bossess with that alone? Finally, where Fuelweaver, Crab King and Celestial Champion, I wanna see the big bois! (Maybe not Crab King) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/146669-i-just-thought-about-a-super-op-combo-no-one-uses-for-bosses/#findComment-1626724 Share on other sites
Yuuko
Its not unknown. Weremoose with Wigfrids heal song, or a Wortox dropping souls are known and fun strats. They only aren't "popular" in the sense that b/c they aren't the most OP / cheesiest thing so they aren't most people's go-to methods to tackle bosses. They are popular in that people know about them and have fun doing them when they want. When it comes to things that are fun, and sound like a good idea but just get outclassed in every way we're always talking about Woodie lol Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/146669-i-just-thought-about-a-super-op-combo-no-one-uses-for-bosses/#findComment-1626727 Share on other sites

She can afford to use that armor for a lot longer because Woodie needs no armor at all. themightyone
I did a 2 player world with a buddy who was Wig and I was Woodie. For some fights it was pretty good , but others like bee queen ,not so much. It makes her minions panic and ignore you even when she makes them rush you. They just zig zag super fast lol. it does require wigfrid to be on top of her/tank as it only lasts 4ish seconds and costs insperation per cast so ymmv Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/146669-i-just-thought-about-a-super-op-combo-no-one-uses-for-bosses/#findComment-1626803 Share on other sites
JustAPineapple
It is Viable in the sense it will get bosses killed and can be very fun method to do with a friend. It might not be min-maxed or the most elegant or efficient way to do things, however personally i don't see why that matters. If it works and it's fun to do that's all you need really.
