As of the latest hotfix (And Moonquay) Klei has been using specific code to allow for sections of entities to properly glow without the ENTIRE thing turning into a Christmas tree.
This works gorgeously on the Werepig and Monkey Queen's pillars, however one example I'd desperately love to see it used on is...

The player! When wearing a Magi/Yellow amulet the entire player glows. And for most light skin characters it almost makes their face drowned out entirely.

However... with a simple single command this can be easily fixed, shown here!

So much better! The Magi glows ripe with power and the entire character doesn't light up either!
Best part is this is visual, there's no loss in light or anything.
I'm considering this to be my proper proposal to introduce this to the vanilla game, thank you for reading.
