Lunar Aligned could use more diversity

Recommended Posts

Upon hearing that Wilson can do extra damage against Lunar mobs, I got really excited thinking about the time that could be saved when fighting Lunar mobs, until I found out that...

It only actually effects virtually 1 mob.

This is handled by a tag that's applied to 3 mobs in the entire game currently.
Those being the CC, Gestalt, and Greater Gestalt.

Only 1 of which you're actually able to fight back...

I suggest this be changed, and to introduce almost everything that's Lunar aligned.
Mobs like the "horror" trio, spiders, pengulls, hounds, you know.
Mobs like the Grotto dwellers, the Mutated batilisk, the Mushgnome. Those lads!

And while mostly flavor, it'd be funny to have Saladmanders, Carrats, and even Wormwood affected as well. The latter being for PVP, it's fitting since other characters have PVP flavor perks like WX's immunity to electricity, Werebeaver doing extra damage against wood/grass armor, and even the souls gained from Webber and lack of souls from WX.
Just funny stuff.

i get the logic behind but they are just mutated by the moon, not moon energy fueled so makes sense that Charlie's puppet make more damage to the moon's avatars

i wish they add more like that creature that imitates survivors shape

I was skeptical at first but what you said I agree with. I still am hopeful we will get more Lunar entities that are not just mutations.

Considering we just got 2 new shadow/nightmare materials in this beta I doubt we'll see many moon related things any time soon.

That'd be kind of sad after a entire story arc and collection of updates focused mostly on the moon

DST already has copius amounts of shadow-related content compared to lunar content, to the point where there's still more of it even after all the moon-related updates.
