Primalflower
This ones a bit out there, but lets face it. Maxwell talks to wilson like he's his freakin grandpa or something. Additionally, many maxwell quotes imply a familial relationship, such as Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/143736-do-you-think-that-wilson-is-maxwells-grandson/ Share on other sites
lowercase skye
I'm not sure if I buy it, for example, a quote you source is Primalflower it's a bit of a stretch but i think it makes sense and cleanly wraps it up with a bow if something was going on here you'd think they would have talked about it a ton with each other by now I think probably it was intended more as an insult, yknow, like implying that theres such a gap in knowledge between them that maxwell could be his older wiser grandpa while it is a bit harder to imagine such a family connection being entirely untapped in terms of lore Quote However I don't think this implies a FAMILIAL relationship, so much as it does a general sense of disdain for Wilson, calling him a "murderous fiend" and all. Additionally, I don't think Maxwell would say something like to someone who was ACTUALLY his grandson, after all, why would he show disgust towards something that reminds him of his dear sweet grandson? The only answer is; it's not actually his grandson. kiwikenobi
Maxwell: 20-something in 1906 Wilson: 30-something in 1920's I'm not sure what you're trying to suggest about a grandson. It makes no sense. They're almost the same age. They would have both been born in about the 1880's. And Maxwell kidnapped Wilson to the Constant and seemed to be spying on him most if not all the time, he had plenty of opportunities to eavesdrop on Wilson talking to himself in the wilderness to hear him describe things. PunkShark
Half of these quotes aren't even the correct ones Like ??? mmm yes piney monkeys. And this one just straight up doesn't exist. Apart from the evergreen quote Maxwell never really says Wilson's name or mentions him due to them never meeting up cause that only happens in DST, thus they have more quotes towards each other in DST. So yeah, can't tell if this is a troll or someone on the wiki had some fun. Notecja
Another random family connecting just because characters have interactions between them. So far only official connections are Winona-Charlie (sisters), Maxwell and Wendy (Maxy is her uncle.. and Abigail her sister but that's obvious) and that is literally told in game one or other way. Dr. Safety
I actually think you are onto something. Come to think of it, has anyone ever sat down and really thought about Wilson's quote of the Carrat Shrine? It seems to be subtly inferring something Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/143736-do-you-think-that-wilson-is-maxwells-grandson/#findComment-1602742 Share on other sites
