If there is a complex pose, i usually sketch it out first... most mistakes i make are corrected with transforming tools... *cheater*o0o kind of yes, I find that if an artist uses their bases,(facelines, body poses) keeping to the basics so to speak, they have a better range of styles, and become a better artist in the process.Never skip the basics. u-u I have felt that pain, and was limited to one thing, and ever since I started with bases, sketching out my people, using those basic lines and shapes before doing my complete drawing, have improved, and im able to do WAY more styles of art. o-o; though i have a long way to go.
