Well that's because this work of ART, this MASTERPIECE, was never implemented into a public version of the game. This right here is one of the many unimplemented creatures for Don't Starve Together, and it's named the Catmandoo. Catmandoo is a creature we know frighteningly little about, despite the wonderful and awe-striking appearance it has. From various clues (Mainly the assets that I can find, as well as many of the animation names), it appears that they would function similar to beefalo, or at least just be made from the same base. And while there isn't much, it is just enough scraps of content surrounding this creature to have me completely HOOKED. I absolutely love this thing, and yet there's absolutely nothing to suggest why it went unimplemented, nor when, if at all, it might see a chance at being implemented again. While I understand many of you will not care, I would especially love for the Catmandoo to be an additional hunt creature, as I feel we could really use more variety in that field. I really feel like it would be nice to have some more "normal" creatures in the Constant, less hybridized or magical. It feels kinda weird that most of the basic fauna that you find roaming around the less hostile areas of the constant have stayed almost entirely the same. You have your birds, perds, bunnies, beefalo, and the occasional spider, pig, or hound cluster. I like the more fantastical and hybridized stuff, but I also appreciate stuff that's more... Normal. Anyhow, Beefalo share another trait in common with the Catmandoo (kinda, anyways), they're both real animals! Beefalo are real animals, and the Manul (Otherwise known as the Pallas Cat) is essentially a smaller version of the Catmandoo! (Without the tooth whorl, anyhow) Anyways, uhhh, well, I didn't really have a direction with any of this, I guess? I really just kinda felt like crying about the fact that this mob has about as high of a chance at getting into DST as winning the lottery ten times over. So I guess the point of this post is: Klei add le funny cat to video game? Please?
