Hi Peter, thank you for your work. I have a question.

I found that electricity optimization affects the electricity waste report. When only "Fast Track" is used, the electricity waste report differs between when electricity optimization is turned off and on. After enabling electricity optimization, when all smart batteries are not fully charged, it still increases the electricity waste of the generator. This phenomenon does not occur when optimization is turned off.

Extract the mod properly; you have it one folder too deep

It should be

mods/Local/FastTrack/{files}

But you most likely have

mods/Local/FastTrack/FastTrack/{files}

you were absolutely right, thank you very much

Hey @Peter Han I think this mod is not compatible with "No Manual Delivery" mod? (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2047308624) Any chance to make it compatible?

Thanks.

Seems to be working correctly on my end. Can you provide some more details about the problem you are encountering?

I also have the same problem. After trying, I found that the problem disappeared after turning off the "Visual-Qiuck format" option. You can give it a try.

It appears that Klei changed localizations to use a different hard-coded format string. While I worked around this issue in version 0.16.1.0 allowing Quick Format to be re-enabled, non-English localizations of the game may still use the old version (and thus may still appear broken).

I was also unable to reproduce the Juicy Fruits issue - it is probably an issue with another mod

Hi!

I’ve noticed there’s a conflict between the "Info Card Optimization" setting from Fast Track and the Better Info Cards mod.

When both the setting and the mod are enabled, I can only select the first item in a tile—can’t pick pipes, wires, or anything else under the tile.

Disabling either the mod or the setting fixes the issue.

This issue appears to be a 3-way conflict with another one of your mods since I cannot reproduce it with the same version of Better Info Cards. I also cannot reproduce the skills panel crash.

Either way, version 0.16.2 adds back the Radbolts ingredient display that Klei unintentionally removed (and just readded in today's patch) with the rewrite to complex fabricators.

Hey, I have found an odd bug in Fast Track (disabled mods to see which one does it until only Fast Track was left on suspect list and the bug does return when I turn it on). It adds radbolts to all in-game recipes. No recipe *actually* requires them so it's not disruptive beyond cluttering the UI, but it's an odd one - unless I missed something in descriptions somewhere, but then I'm baffled, cause I read through all options.

Attaching some pictures.

So, I disabled diseases in my game (was disabled since the beginning, and I'm on cycle 110 now without any issues), but I noticed that this new Polluted Water Vent that I unblocked is generating Food Poisoning, which I swear did not happen before? I have not done anything different, but maybe I just did not notice. I don't want to create a bug report if I'm just missing something!

Rest assured this is a base game feature, but they have always produced food poisoning germs.

Version 0.16.3 fixes a cosmetic issue in some fabricator side screens and a potential rare crash when updating offsets. Polluted Water Vents will also no longer appear to emit any germs if diseases are completely disabled, even though in previous versions these visual germs would never have been able to cause an infection of any kind.

The last QoL patch have break the Fast Track. Unable to load and instacrash at Desktop.

As always, Fast Track alters stuff deep in the internals of the game systems, so all updates are incompatible with existing versions of Fast Track, and will require a new version to become compatible.

Folks when new major updates releases fast track will most certainly not work just like other big mods. With This QoL update it may take Peter weeks or even months to update fast track with this update compared to other major updates because of the major performance improvements and other things.

So I advise you all to be patient and wait until Peter releases an update. If you want to use fast track then you will have to play the old patch before this Qol patch...

Just to clarify it a bit for non-coders/modders:

A simple mod that broke after an update, because a term (for example, the rename Pacu to Paku) or a path has changed is an easy fix for the modder. Update to the change, run the compiler, upload the new version, enjoy the rest of the week.

Fast track? Nooooo. Not that simple. Peter Han has done a absolute miracle of coding on this mod. He has to evaluate every bit of code change KLEI has made, and then adjust his mod according to those changes. Remove things, rewrite or add others.

Now KLEI changed a LOT of things regarding performance what fast track also changes. So its not just a quick look and fix. Its even worse this time for poor Peter. He has to evaluate everything his mod does, if its even still necessary (or worth the gain) anymore.

And i guess, Peter has a real life too. I dont know if they celebrate christmas or something like that where he lives, or in his family. But give him some breathing room please ;) He`s done the impossbile already and gave us so much bonus joy for this game, and all FOR FREE!

I think, i speak for the vast majority of all people using your mod @Peter Han: Thank you so much!

The latest performance improvements make the game quite playable actually even without Fast Track. I'm 600+ cycles into a game and still have pretty good framerate. Moving the pathing off the main thread really accomplished a lot, although there are still some bugs in it that are being worked on.
