Goats are just animals minding their own business. Klaus on the other hand is actively trying to kill you, while killing him will free the deers he enslaved, so you're doing a good deed. If I was you, I would kill the Eye of Terror and use the milky whites for icecream. It is definitely more morally defendable than killing the goats, as the eye tries to murder you in the first place. Also, you could imagine that it is just part of a larger entity and regenerates over time, so you would technically not even kill, just poke off an eye of an eldritch monster. This mod extends the actions so that you get beefalo milk and deer milk, ransack catcoonden and tallbird's nest. It is real fun to play.
