There is simply too much scrolling and mucking around involved when trying to find the desired item, especially in a hurry. At least I would welcome any improvements. Even a grid / crafting wheel that would be accessible with a (crafting) hotkey would be nice. With such an interface all items would only be 3 key presses away from crafting, without having to move the mouse nor replacing the current interface (unfortunately I am not an UI designer or programmer but I have a concept in my head, xaxa). Klei will for sure come up with some ingenious design.
