So as klei has stated multiple times and especially with current lunar island and waterlogged updates, it can be safe to assume that this will never happen. They already made completely different way of sailing and ocean content what is even the point of adding shipwrecked in DST now? At most they could port some things that people liked to the current content that exists if they ever decided to.

Tbf even if it isn't a port the new Waterlogged biome is literally just something from Shipwrecked reskinned and tweaked a bit, so its safe to assume that hamlet and shipwrecked content are possible but they won't be 1-1 and they won't be as game changing (for example the hamlet content would probabaly just be like some new tropical biome instead of the advanced pigs)

Actually nvm, found out Wobsters are literally ported from shipwrecked too.

I can already play SW in DST using mods, and most skins are super ugly anyway. I would rather just buy DSA with Hamlet.

I'd pay for DLC content, unused content, DLC characters if it was bundled with skins to stop the whole problem with steam market selling the Guest of Honnor skin heads for ridiculous prices just for cosmetic items that don't do anything. (currently the Wilson skin is almost 100$ and the Maxwell head is just 11$!) I'd love seeing unused content and DLC content in DST, I'd 100% buy a DLC that included all of this.

I think what people are failing to realize when I made this thread is that coming March 15 2022 Grand Theft Auto V will have been Remastered between 3 different Console generations (PS3,Ps4, Xbox 360, Xbox One & come next month PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Now anyone who has bought GTA V on Xbox 360/PS3 who later went on to buy it AGAIN on Ps4/Xbox One can tell you that there is boat load of differences between the two games, for starters- First person Camera angles, interiors to every vehicle, interiors to buildings, custom vehicle decals etc..

They are quite literally two different games (PS3/Xbox 360 NEVER got the Casino.. that’s how much of a difference there is between them.

And in less then 30 Days- They’ll repeat this process AGAIN discontinuing development for the last Gen version while any newer content is exclusively on the new platform. 

I have absolutely no idea how things work on the PC (maybe you don’t have to re-buy GTA V) but I can tell you that it’s nothing unusual for a CONSOLE Gamer.

And in fact: I’ll be one of the people buying GTA V again for the next Generation.

And if you don’t like me using GTA V as a comparison that’s just too bad, it was the best selling game of all time, and therefore majority of the world knows of its existence.

Over on console there are Already several different versions of Dont starve you can buy.

What I wanted to know was, like the differences between GTA V on Xbox 360/PS3 & Xbox One/PS4..  would people be willing to pay for a PS5/Series X/S version of Don’t Starve Together?
