Ornge
This might seem like an incredibly stupid question, but why does wortox get possessed? At 1:24 in the video is the part I'm talking about. I was rewatching all the reworks recently and this stood out to me because it doesn't really make sense. Like I get it he does the good thing and disagrees with krampus stealing a beefalo, but what I do not understand is how does that lead to him being possessed? I feel like I'm missing some context or something because if the reasoning is just "because random surprise curse" then that is so dumb Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/135901-why-does-wortox-get-possessed/ Share on other sites
Echsrick
he does not get possessed, he technicaly eats krampus soul, that was wortox power from all the time and krampus just try to awaken wortox real powers, so in a way krampus got what he wanted, he made wortox a soul stealing imp Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/135901-why-does-wortox-get-possessed/#findComment-1519481 Share on other sites

Ornge
neither of you answered my question but I think I get it now after thinking it over. He steals krampus' souls because he sees him as the bad guy, however by stealing his soul he becomes just as bad as krampus who stole the beefalo. Thanks Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/135901-why-does-wortox-get-possessed/#findComment-1519485 Share on other sites

He pretty much becomes Nightcrawler Spawn by that point. SinancoTheBest
The narrator literally spells out: ...for taking that which is not yours can lead to possession. (Nice double entendre there Klei) As vague as that is, I think the implication is that he went against his nature and did a thing he wasn't supposed to do thus he developed a curse where his possesions would be souls, starting from his partner in crime Krampus, who he consumed. It's natural to expect magic and mystery behind it since whole Klaus-Krampii family of species are magical beings related to morality and innocence. Mr Giggio
i think this is something natural for him based in being a demon. he grows and his abilities appears. i know this isnt a thing around many krampii but hes different i guess that part about havin a fragmented mind intrigues me tho i mean apparently hes bananas after the power triggers and many quotes of him says he have a lot goin on inside his head probably havin two krampus in one body can mess him up Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/135901-why-does-wortox-get-possessed/#findComment-1519597 Share on other sites
