Can bundled pumpkins go stale?

The highlighted crops (on the right) were harvested and bundled at the same time. They've been sitting on the surface ever since (solo world, nobody has touched them), and should all have full freshness. And yet somehow my pumpkins are stale.

I'm fairly certain this is a bug of some description, but that doesn't explain why the pumpkins are the only crop affected. Surely the corn and potato's should also have spoiled.

It looks like they were affected by something that set their spoilage to exactly half what it was. Not sure how that's happened.

(Edit) Hallowed nights, perhaps? Was the pumpkin spoil timer quietly increased for hallowed nights, and my pumpkins kept their original time-to-spoil because they were harvested prior to it?

I believe this is the case. You could post it in the bug tracker, and it'll get fixed soon hopefully.

That's strange. It doesn't look like the game does anything too funky with pumpkins while Hallowed Nights is active. It's just 20 day spoilage instead of 10.

Correct, but it also keeps the same perishtime, so that means the percentage is different.

Let's say you had pumpkins with 10 day spoilage before hallowed nights. When it becomes hallowed nights, those pumpkins keep their current perish time as 10 days, but the max becomes 20 days, so now they're 50% spoiled and thus stale.

Huh, but then it also means that if OP bundles those pumpkins back and opens the package after the event ends, they'll be back at (almost) full freshness? (assuming that Klei doesn't fix it till then)
