Telelocator Staff upgrade

The Telelocator Staff was not very useful for anything, and after the appearance of The Lazy Deserte and Wanda, it became completely unnecessary. Maybe should give him the opportunity to also open portals that you can jump into (with part of the marble figure)?

It has many uses

the lazy deserter and wanda's watches cannot accomplish the following:
- teleport entities other than players
- summon lightning (surface)
- cause small, focused earthquakes (caves)
- increase the world's moisture, potentially causing rain

farming moles or carrats (if used in the grotto)

I guess that's one way to do it. Though Hallowed Nights potions are still a thing used for that.

On my Wickerbottom solo worlds I still use it to come and go off moon island to farm feathers and sacks, or to come and go to “bearger’s wood island” during autumn (Bearger stays there “on vacations” the rest of the year too)

I have no other late game use for purple gems, so…

You can load a telelocator focus with gems on moon island, and if you stand in the middle of it and use the staff, you will be teleported to a random place on the main land without consuming the purple gems, and leaving it ready to go back to moon island at any time.

if there is a loaded telelocator focus on land you will be teleported there so, tecnically, you can link 2 telelocator focus by using the staff standing in the middle as you said

Even before The Lazy Deserter and Wanda the telelocator staff was rarely used for teleporting players. The main use of it is still what it always has been, and still uncontested with no other item: teleporting non-players. It's always been primarily used to make things like varg or goat farms, very few people actually used it to move themselves because honestly it isn't very good at that. You can basically create a two-way wormhole, a single two-way wormhole, that costs 3.4 purple gems per use, but even when that was the only way to teleport people around most people didn't feel like that was very useful.
