A Security Door should only be allowed to be deconstructed after a Dupe unlocks it. As for why Neural Vaculator if you already have 1 there's no need for 2. I don't even know how to recharge them or if you can yet even though they claim to. I belive the point about security doors come from the old times where you need acess a specific way without have acess and vision caused by the fog of war on the points of interest of map . considering now you could simple desconstruct the tiles around , is a very positive point you could deconstruct those doors after you unlock it ( if you don´t want deconstruct or solve the mini-puzzle . About vacilator , could be viable have more than one ( since you afirming , i belive is a good oportunity to test and check it ^^ . ) Feel free to ask us to any aditional information . Personally I have zero, fully explored 5 (6 with a starter one) planetoids and still no Vacillators. Put an 'artifact' module (or multiple) onto your rocket and send it to any POI, once it gets back, analyze artifacts, they have a chance of dropping charges. I deconstructed the one on temporal tear opener, but can not do the same on my starter planetoid. Astrologic Posted October 5, 2021 Share Posted October 5, 2021 I think the best solution to the neural vacillator deconstruction thing is to have an option for it within the skill scrubber. Either "scrub" or "Neural upgrade". Of course, you could still use the neural vacillators, but now if you deconstruct them, as long as you have a charge and a skill scrubber, you can still brainwash your dupes. Well, I think it's a good idea anyway. babba Posted October 20, 2021 Share Posted October 20, 2021 It would be great if the vacillators explode on deconstruction, because I always have to start other games to see something exploding ! The greatest ONI time was at the point where dupes where flying and getting kicked around on regolith meteor impacts, back in the early days. A bit of puff puff boom boom in the game, would be nice.
