Look at what happened with the gator mob, its reception was pretty divided in the community because of its lack of uniqueness. If I had any say with this mob I would have them live in burrows kinda the way basilisks do. And you can befriend them to carry your lantern kinda like moogles carry the chalice in crystal chronicles. They also have big bodies and tiny wings lol.
