Abigail and the MOON

As the pathetic human I am, I was scrolling through Maxwell memes and saw a particular post from @Chick3nNugg3t, that showed Wendy's examination of the enlightenment crown. 
Supposedly, whilst wearing it, Wendy struggles to see Abigail, for some reason.

Why would this be? I always though that ghosts were drawn to the moon, given full moon nights making all graves spawn ghosts, but perhaps since Abigail was actually a person before dying and following Wendy to the constant it has an adverse effect? 
I'd like to see your theories.

Its probably because Abigail is tied to shadow magic, as evidenced from the nightmare fuel in the craft for her flower.

The silly reason? the moon leaves a white light in its glow, and ghosts are made of white light in the game. 
 

But knowing Klei it’s probably something more sinister: Like she’s never been real this whole time & Wendys being lied to. But that theory only holds up until the end of Wendy’s Animated Short: Where we “the player” see Abigail briefly appear in the real world before she ever arrives within the constant.

I think this must be what makes Abigail different from all the other ghosts, if Wagstaff's quote for them is anything to go by: "A poltergeist not affected by the dark fuel."
