Beefalo are almost really good now.

Pudgy Beefalo is fatter and it moves slightly slower, Maybe “Large” Saddles that can only fit on Pudgy Beefalo would be cool?

Large Saddle Ideas: Saddle with a Lantern attached to its neck (yes I have been playing too much Red Dead Online TYVM)

Saddle Capable of Storing items inside like a Backpack because A large slower moving mount should be excellent at carrying many objects.

The last ones are a bit more crazy and unlikely to happen but “Large” Saddles only capable of placing upon “Large” (Pudgy) Beefalo would have unique traits And there’s no more unique trait then being able to wear a saddle that has an overhead Awing over it, 100% protecting the player and the beef from rain wetness & only “Minor” assisting in Overheating for Summer: The Shady Saddle

The last “Large Saddle” Idea is Body Armor for your Beefalo.. because why not? Think of it like Medieval horse Armor & boom there ya go.

To compensate for all these (probably OP Suggestions) Maybe they can make the Pudgy Beefalo move slightly slower..

Pudgy beefalo being able to wear certain saddles without penelty is definitly a good option.

One Idea I've seen suggested (but I forget who came up with it originally) is a tilling saddle that will quickly sow a row of 3 plant spots while running over a farm plot

Yeah, they might not “outclass” the strongest options in the game. But they’re super fun and viable! Especially considering that they’re infinite weapons and armor; normally very expensive resource costs in DST fighting.

During taming, especially the early stages, I always suggest to unmount and remount before combat. Once fully tamed the buck timer suddenly becomes huge! I don’t really have to think about it again. I beefalo timer could be nice, but what id want more is a health meter.

Well, Beefalos themselves are expensive to reach that point lol.

Not that I'm saying they're worthless, just that the other guy talked about Klei fearing that Beefalos could become so powerful they'd outclass other options, and while there are certainly advantages, they're unlikely to reach a point where they outclass other options, unless something like, Beefalos doing triple damage happens in an update. They're fun, and while not the most "meta" thing to do (Which's like, whatever, this isn't a competitive game), the game's flexible enough to allow other options to be used, even if worse.

I've had problems with Nightmare creatures suddenly showing up, me having to fight 'em and the Beefalo kicks me off, really annoying when that happens, specially since I don't carry a spear when riding a Beefalo lol.

But yeah, health meter would be better, while I somewhat understand why they don't add health meters for bosses (Even though I think it'd be nice to be there), it's way more important to be able to see it with the creature you're using to fight.
