To stay true to life, severe radioactive leaks should interfere with electrical currents. I'd say automation, too, but there's not really any way to make things operate purely mechanical in ONI.

Disaster incoming. Hoard the iodine bois

That is a superb idea with the electric interference due to radioactivity :love_heart::cheerful::love_heart:

Perhaps the players screen can also turn grey with lots of fizzle dots and scatter as the player is moving in to a highly radioactive area

A kind of slight screen distortion - Michael Bay would like that

Yes, please. You must add graphite to the list of things that duplicants can sweep, but it can only be checked 20 cycles after a nuclear reactor accident.

And we definitely need a super-expensive robot "Joker" that is designed to work in radiation conditions. So that it breaks down as soon as it enters the work area.

I like the cute robot breakdown idea, it sounds as useless as the IcyFan. Perhaps the IcyFan could be the only item in the game which can cool the fallout robot cleaner properly, this would combine 2 useless items to a working solution. Win win.

Also an extreme radioactive incident could have radiation symbols popping up, in combo with broken love hearts. :x
