Trapped in the air BUG

Hi all, I am constantly getting  bug on my main base (DLC), cycle 244. Dupes are constantly getting trapped floating in the air. The only way i have found to bypass this is build a tile right below them.

It happens really often, literally once or twice per cycle. Which is weird, because it hasn't been happening before. Something must be triggering it.

I suspect this is a result of the "building a solid tile over a ladder, then deconstructing the tile" bug.  The only time I've had dupes get suck in the air is when I have deconstructed solid tiles that were built over ladder tiles.  The dupe deconstructs the tile, then 'stands' on the ladder (which no longer exists) with no way to get down.  Building a tile underneath them gives them something to stand on, allowing them to get down.

Yeah, it's exactly that. For some reason I got this like 20 times in 30 minutes. Very annoying.

Would you be willing to share your save file? Ladder replacement sounds suspicious indeed but I haven't been able to reproduce it in my testing. I've been investigating a different floating dupe bug and wonder if it's related, however no ladders were involved.

@EricKlei I don't have any current saves with the problem or I would definitely share one.  I've been deconstructing ladders instead of building over them because I got tired of the problem.  I'll try to replicate it and if I do, I'll share a save.  Gonna be busy this week, so it'll be a few days before I can play again.

I got this bug once and loading fixes it. Will try to find exact steps to reproduce it too

I have not been able to reproduce it in the DLC.  It has been a while since it happened for me.  However, if it does happen, I'll make sure to upload a save and tag you.

3 dupes stuck in the air. No decontruction of ladders involved. They were just digging. Save attached.

And then it just happended again... hmmm. One more save attached.

just had it happen several times had a red alert on a dig command was sand and a mix of things could access from top and bottom to dig, ones that went up top all got stuck when it was dug from underneath them if it happens again will save and post it 

So I triggered the Steam update and am running hotfix 448886.  When I try and load the above save file, the game shuts down and does not allow a crash report to be sent. Loading the previous 2 autosaves also results in a crash after a few seconds.  I was originally running the Pliers and the Sweep By Type mods when I first crashed.  The crash persisted after disabling the mods. I have sent the crash report and included the save files here.
