No, because it's just tamping ressources to a turf. It just wouldn't make sense to get Berrie Bushes or other plants out of it this way.

For plants I would prefer a solution like the Sprouting Stone Fruit, like getting a Sprouting Berrie from time to time.

terra firma tamper opens the landscaping tab. Planting saplings and bushes is by every single possible definition, landscaping

If this doesn't make sense, then the clouds in the sky are marshmallows.

It's already very possible in the base game.

tropical variant of the berry bush.

If we get expanded options in landscaping, I proposed that adding a spiky berry bush would be possible

I was on board until someone pointed out what Terra Firma Tamper translates to.

Still though, I just want a nice way to get plants for decorating. I fear using my few pig village berry bushes because any accident that destroys them will mean they're gone for good, but they're so cool looking.

And to be absolutely clear: Terra Firma Tamper is good and I'm glad we can finally craft turfs. That is a huge plus on its own.

It doesn't matter, how the tab is named. The Terra Firma Tamper ist TAMPING materials, so that there is only a mix of the ingredients left. It isn't really creating something, it is destroying things, like you are putting fruits in a bender. At the end you have a mixed mass, not a new fruit.

You can't create a plant, you can only plant a seed of a plant and hope it's growing. The you can do landscaping with these plants, like replanting them.
