caffeinated21
Super weird; out of nowhere in the middle of my base temperatures just start rising super fast (see 200C + spot highlighted). No hot fluids being pumped through this area or anything. Anyone seen something like this before?
psusi
It looks like you are in the process of building some things there including a painting. Did you built them out of really hot material by accident? Do you have a metal volcano or something that a stupid dupe may have ran over and picked up some 1000 C metal from to build that painting? SharraShimada
It seems you´re building metal tiles from very hot metal
caffeinated21
The build was in response to the heat! I was throwing down some temp shifts to soak up heat while I figured out what was happening New tiles reset to 40C
Coolthulhu
Most common causes: Some dupe was carrying a hot bit of volcano metal, magma-derived igneous rock or freshly solidified glass, but dropped it After supplying material to a construction site, it still has high temperature until the construction is finished 95+% chance that it's one of the two above.
